View on Google MapsJorge was an excellent guide. He walked me through the historic market of Zaragoza and showed me the typical food of the region. It was fun to experience the vendors at work and see all the fresh ingredients for the meal we were going to prepare together. Jorge chose dishes that were both delicious and feasible to prepare at home. I enjoyed helping him prep and cook while having an engaging conversation about the food and culture of Spain. I would definitely recommend this adventure while in Zaragoza.
The cooking class was truly one of the best memories of our trip to Zaragoza. Jorge first took us to the large market hall, where we bought our ingredients. He explained a lot about the history and background of the market. Afterwards, we went to a really well-equipped cooking school where we prepared the ingredients and cooked the dishes. We conjured up dishes from Aragonese cuisine as well as typical Spanish delicacies, received valuable tips, had some truly wonderful conversations, and drank delicious wine. Jorge's very friendly and warm personality made the class twice as much fun, and it will remain a cherished memory! So don't miss this opportunity if you're ever in Zaragoza!!!💕

Jorge took us shopping as promised. Then my gf and I spend hours making a few dishes in their cooking classroom area. It was a wonderful 5 hours of bonding over a stove. I learned a few new tricks for cooking mushrooms. Jorge and my gf and enjoyed each others conversation as well as the wine!
Our market tour and cooking class with Jorge was the highlight of our trip to Zaragoza. We got a chance to learn about the city, learn about the local food culture, and make a friend a long the way!
Jorge was a brilliant guide. We began with a capsule history of the city, proceeded to make market purchases for lunch (with explanations along the way), and made our way to his well-equipped chef’s kitchen to prepare our meal. Utter pleasure talking and eating and learning … accompanied by good wines. Jorge gave us more than his allotted time — such a good guy, and such a wonderful experience. If you find yourself wondering, Why did I come to Zaragoza?, this is your answer. Highly recommended.
Jorge was really friendly and knowledgeable about the local food. Generous with his time, engaged in the cooking lesson. His passion for Spanish food was clear and left us with a better understanding and appreciation of Spanish and specifically Aragon’s cuisine and the food was delicious
I had an incredible time cooking with Jorge. From the moment we met, he made me feel completely welcome. We started with a visit to the local market, where he carefully picked out the freshest local produce and shared stories about the ingredients and regional traditions, it was already a cultural experience before we even started cooking. In the kitchen, Jorge struck the perfect balance between professionalism and approachability. His instructions were clear and easy to follow, even for someone like me who isn’t a seasoned chef. Every dish we made was absolutely delicious and really brought out the flavors of Zaragoza and Aragonese cuisine. From an amazing Paella to a Spanish omelette, Fantastico ! You can genuinely taste the local culture in every bite fresh vegetables, rich flavors, and traditional techniques made accessible. On top of all that, Jorge is just a fantastic host: warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about what he does. This wasn’t just a cooking class; it was a cultural immersion I won’t forget anytime soon.
What a great way to spend a day, learning how to make a number of Aragonese/Spanish dishes, including lamb paella, Fritata, Tomato Salad, Torrega and Borage with Potato tapa. We also visited the mercado to select key ingredients and understand its historical place in the city. Jorge was a fun and informative teacher!
This is a not to be missed experience. From the get go, Jorge was a delight. We chatted before going to the market to choose fresh in-season vegetables for tapas and amazing lamb and ground pork for paella. On the short walk to the cooking school, Jorge shared history about Spain and the Zaragoza area. We also stopped for fresh bread to accompany the feast. Once at the cooking school we continued to enjoy delightful conversation and preparation of the amazing meal. Wine accompanied the prep and enjoyment of the meal. It was lovely to see people come into the shop and interact with Jorge. He had is a much loved and respected member of this community. Without a doubt, this “foodie” experience goes far beyond others that we have enjoyed. Jorge…you are a TOP chef. Mucho Gracias 🇪🇸🇪🇸 Dixie & Pat
