View on Google MapsI recommend that you visit in 4 x 4 unless you want to destroy your car as the route is not paved. In addition, with a guide you know the area better and visit the most emblematic places since some areas are prohibited and you can risk receiving heavy fines if you deviate from the route for ignorance. On the other hand, the visit is worth it. We went with Civitatis and with a guide and 4 x 4 so we did not take any risks and enjoyed the route enormously.
Excellent tour of the Bardenas Reales with our guide Javier. This is a must do and Javier is very knowledgeable about the region. We spoke Spanish with him the entire time but he also speaks English and French so you will have a great time and experience if you choose his tour!
