View on Google MapsBernarda was an excellent guide. She tailored the tour according to our interest and our time constraint.. we had a wonderful time
We did a private tour and it was well worth it. He was easily able to accommodate for a wheelchair and pram. Luka had a wealth of knowledge and tied with his local stories and enthusiasm, it was truly a great tour. We felt we got a good overview of the history and what is modern day Croatia. Not to mention the local grandma made souvenir at the end!
Luka was am amazing tour guide. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable and a really nice guy, he was a perfect fit for our family (mom, dad, kids aged 9-17). We really couldn't have asked for a better experience. The whole thing was well organized, we were given clear details on where to meet, and Luka is even following up by sending us a couple recommendations. Because of this tour we now know what to do with the rest of our time in Zagreb, we know what to eat tonight for an authentic experience, and we have a solid foundation of Croatian culture which will follow us as we tour this beautiful country. Luka took photos for us and a video (I won't ruin the surprise). I would recommend highly to all my friends and family.
We had a great experience with Luka on our walking tour of Zagreb! He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Zagreb. We learned a lot and enjoyed the history and his personal stories. Plus, Luka gave us great recommendations that we used during our time in Zagreb. It made our stay in this beautiful city even better! Thanks Luka!
The perfect tour! We got to see key sights and hear the stories of Croatia and Zagreb, and to eat delicious food - everyone would enjoy this experience. Luka is a brilliant host and guide with excellent English and insider knowledge of the city, easy to chat to and with loads of stories to tell from Croatian history to the wartime rave in the underground tunnels! The food was awesome - from Mediterranean to Hungarian to Turkish, we tasted some of the major influences on Croatian food accompanied by excellent wine :) The two teenagers with us enjoyed it enormously too, before we all wandered back to our apartment very full and happy. This was a great thing to do on our first day in Zagreb as now we have lots of ideas of more things to see and try - I highly recommend it to other visitors. I can’t think of a better introduction to the city :)
We had an amazing two hours with Luka this morning. He is so knowledgeable and engaging and gave us an enthusiastic and friendly introduction to Zagreb. A great storyteller. Highly recommended.
If you're looking for an exceptional connection to Croatian food and/or history, this is your tour. I was truly impressed by Luka's depth of knowledge in local cuisine and food, approachability, and I think that anyone looking for a Zagreb native's perspective on cuisine and history shouldn't look any further.
We learned a lot about Zagreb. We liked Luka's sense of humor. Everything was positive and interesting. Thank you for this time and for the gift at the end of the tour:)
Luka has a vast historical knowledge and is a great story teller. He was very attentive and checked with each guest throughout to made sure they were ok and also made sure it was personalised to suit everyone. The food was incredibly nice and I tried foods I never would have without the tour. I wish we had done this earlier in our trip, especially to utilise the recommendations he sent us. Thank you so much Luka!
Luca was our amazing guide for a Foodie of Zagreb tour. He was fantastic- not only did we get to try the best local food and wine but he was a plethora of information about the history of Zagreb! He was great! I highly recommend this food tour (not on this site right now. Just ask for it!)
