She is kind and patient and a lot of fun. She has all of the best photo opportunities, as well. If you want to see Jamestown and Yorktown in a day, you must book with Bambi! Our group of 6 was super comfortable in her vehicle. We will be back!
Our tour with Bambi was absolutely wonderful! She has such deep knowledge of the local history and shared it in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. Bambi took the time to explain details thoughtfully, answering questions with patience and genuine enthusiasm. Her kindness and welcoming nature made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We left not only learning so much, but also feeling truly cared for throughout the tour. I can’t recommend Bambi highly enough — she made our visit unforgettable!

Much better to go with a Tour Guide. You get so much more information. Plus easier to navigate to and from each place and sights. Well worth the extra cost.

Bambi was a wealth of knowledge regarding Jamestown and Yorktown. It was honestly the best tour we could have booked. Going into the museums and walking through the Jamestown settlement having someone explain what we were looking at and its significance tied it all together. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide or experience.
We brought our family (ages 6-55) for a vacation that included a stay in Virginia. We are a history-loving homeschool family, and we knew we wanted to explore as much as we could there in our limited time frame. We decided to book this private tour of Jamestown and Yorktown, and it turned out to be such a great experience. Our tour guide was so accommodating and knowledgeable. Having her drive us made things so much easier, negating any navigation concerns that we otherwise would have had. A seemingly endless supply of bottled water and a wide variety of snacks kept hunger and thirst at bay, enabling even the youngest of the children to maintain interest and attention. She knew the best times to explore each place, the must-see exhibits and locations, the best hands-on demonstrations, the questions we might not know to ask, and her personal knowledge of the area, the people, and the history made the tour such an exceptional experience for our family. The whole tour was phenomenal, and well worth the price. We enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get the most out of their visit.
My grandson liked the Native American exhibit and the ships the best. But all of the trip was interesting.
