View on Google MapsSuch a lovely day out. It was quiet and we took our time waling around the well signposted exhibits, taking a break for a drink in the cafe midway. The information was really useful around all the tanks and the lady on the rok pool exhibit was really knowledgable and informative about the creatures we were seeing. The shop was well stocked and it was a brilliant day out and highly recommended to people of all ages. We bought our tickets in advance and that made it good value for a few hours of great entertainment seeing amazing fish and learning all about them.
I very much enjoyed my visit. Weather curtailed my visit after an hour. Decided to get a season ticket as I missed so much.
Good value for money, really good attraction, so much to do and the children loved it. The penguins were the absolute best and we really enjoyed hearing the facts about them whilst they were being fed. Sea turtles were equally as cute

What a wonderful day out. My children are 11&12 and they love animals of all kinds. I was unsure what to expect when I booked and I’d read no reviews prior to the visit. It was a very cold day and I didn’t know that part of this is outside…..but we had hoodies so all was good. They have a wonderful selection of different animals (and even an abundance of squirrels!) Sadly the play park wasn’t open due to ice but that’s a safety precaution so understandable. The play area looks good fun though. There’s even a splash area for the kids in the summer. My favourite were the sea dragons (you educated me as I had no idea such things existed) and the little penguins! There’s an array of fish in various aquariums and buildings throughout the site and although there were a good few people there, it didn’t feel crowded. A definite thumbs-up from us! (My 11 year old said it’s the best aquarium she has been to!)
What a brilliant place Sea Life is!! We spent hours totally engaged in seeing all the wonderful animals you care for. Lots of great information to keep young and old happy!! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff with huge smiles on their faces!! Thank you for making our visit brilliant!! 🤩
My visit to Weymouth Aquarium was pretty underwhelming overall. There wasn’t much going on inside, and the place felt quite run down, as though it hasn’t had a proper update in a long time. You don’t really see any staff around outside, which adds to the slightly neglected feel of the place. The biggest disappointment, though, was the outdoor toilet facilities. They were absolutely filthy, and the baby changing areas were in a terrible state — definitely not somewhere you’d want to put a baby down. It really took away from the visit. The aquarium does have a few interesting displays, but with the general upkeep and the poor condition of the facilities, it’s hard to recommend without some serious improvements.
Had a great day out at weymoth sealife center with my family. Nice freindly staff. Staff very helpful espacially when we had left some belongings behind.
We decided to go on a rainy day as a last minute change of plan. We didn’t realise most of the area was outside, our bad! Nevertheless the exhibits are mostly indoors and we were pleasantly surprised by how good they were (after finding the London SLC a bit too busy and close). I’d recommend the Seal feeding, Neil and Laura running it were fantastic, very informative and happy to talk to the kids at the end. The big tank in the nursery also kept our 3yo fascinated with two fish playing at the surface. Fantastic way to spend a few hours, especially in the off season!
We came here on a whim as we are in a coach trip. I came here with my husband and my 7 month old daughter. We were greeted by a lovely lady who was extremely informative. We used our Merlin passes and got a map. I really liked how accessible it was so if you were disabled then you would be able to pretty much get everywhere with a wheelchair. I liked how there were little feet on the floor to help guide you to each individual section and that it was numbered. It is an indoor/outdoor sea life which made it extremely unique! The shipwreck was down for refurbishment but they gave you an extra 30% off to come back which I thought was great. I really liked that they are constantly trying to improve and listen to feedback. Each tank I looked at was perfectly stocked and we loved seeing all the information about each of the marine life. The penguin enclosures were also extremely fantastic, I was really impressed how close they have got it to the actual environment. (Make sure to see the fairy penguins!) The cafe was also lovely and reasonably priced! We had a BBQ pizza and it was soooo good! the only issue we had was the baby changing. It was in a really awkward place (near the cafe) and I couldn’t quite reach, but sometimes you’ve got to make the best out of a bad situation. Also big shout out to Lottie who I did my penguin experience with! She was fantastic and very informative. I already miss Pistachio! ❤️ Lovely place for families and even couples. You can go through quickly but take your time and enjoy the little moments!
This aquarium is THE place to go to see all kinds of fish, from rare to common, and is a fantastic place to support sea life of every kind! It’s a beautiful park with lots to see and many interactive buttons and crawl-through tubes for kids and adults alike to enjoy. Next to it is a fun, 18-hole mini golf course, themed to pirates and full of fun facts as you play. Some of the course is a bit worn down, but doesn’t at all hinder the experience. If you’re looking for anything fun to do in Weymouth, check this place out! While it’s a bit in the pricey range, knowing it’s going to rescue endangered animals and spread awareness makes this park worth every penny!!
