View on Google MapsOur tour of Victoria and the Church and State and Prohibition Wineries was a genuinely special experience. Kevin was an engaging and expert guide, and chose a perfect couple of vineyards to showcase the amazing wines of the Saanich valley. We were particularly taken with Prohibition, whose owner Ashleigh is doing incredible stuff with vintages that would be unremarkable in Europe - her 2023 Ortega, Auxerrois and particularly the Castle are nothing short of outstanding, and unique to this area. All thanks to Kevin for selecting a great itinerary and for his passion for the area and its wine, which made for a wonderful afternoon. I couldn't recommend Alstel Tours highly enough.
We had a great tour with our guide Kim. Our group loved two out of three vineyards on the tour and the third only came down to a personal preference of wines compared to the other two. Only note- make sure you have ate prior to the tour. The shared charcuterie board was great but not filling.

Excellent car and driver/owner Kevin. He knows the area well and answered all our questions. Had 3 stops. One for cider sampling, one for wine testing and the third had beer and whiskey tasting. He was able to keep us on time without feeling rushed. Would recommend.
Incredible selection of really creative ciders! Get the 6-cider tasting at Sea Cider! Loved the sparkling pinot gris at Church and State. Such a shame they can’t ship to the USA.
Beautiful scenery, friendly people and great cider, wine, beer and whiskey. Our tour guide was fun, friendly and full of knowledge of the area.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made this an excellent experience. He adjusted the tour to our preferences and I would due it again in a heart beat
This is a great tour. Very professional and well worth the time and money. Do as long a tour that you can.
Our guide was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He rearranged the trip to our likes (more wineries and less distilleries). The tour and views were super. I would book the tour again in a flash.
My husband and I booked a private Saanich cider, wine, and beer tour with Alset Tours. Our tour guide was Mark Jackson, who was extremely personable, engaging, and knowledgeable. He was honestly the best tour guide we’ve ever had. We were lucky to have gotten to ride in their Falcon-Winged Model X SUV Tesla. It was an incredibly smooth, fun, and quiet ride. On the tour we stopped at 3 places: the Sea Cider Farm for tasting and charcuterie lunch, the Roost Farm Vinery for tasting and baked goods snack, and then lastly the Caledonia Distillery for beer and whiskey tasting and facility tour. In between strops we were guided through Victoria’s capital, the British Columbia countryside, and Saanich's coastline and beaches. Mark and Kevin were well organized and accommodating, allowing the perfect amount of time at each location. I highly recommend booking this tour in Victoria, BC! Perfect for those who want to get away from other cruise ship passengers and large tour groups. Thanks Alset Tours!
Tour owner Kevin a courteous, informative tour host showing us many picturesque spots during our tour. The Cider tasting a new experience (6 samples) then two wine tasting stops with a variety of wines to sample in lovely settings. A very enjoyable private tour.
