Best tour. We wanted to experience a food tour from “family owned businesses” off the beaten path from a venetian perspective and that’s exactly what we got. It included delicious wines/ drinks and some foods prepared like you might have found generations ago like from the 1400. An experience not to be missed. Barbara was excellent.

She guided us through three wonderful cicchetti spots, each with its own charm and flavor, weaving in stories of Venice’s history, food, and people as naturally as if she were introducing us to old friends. Barbara’s warmth, humor, and deep local knowledge made every bite and every glass of wine feel special. And just when we thought the evening couldn’t be any better, she surprised us with the richest, most heavenly hot chocolate — the perfect Venetian finale. If you want to experience Venice like a true local — full of heart, laughter, and flavor — Barbara is the one to trust. Our family of six (all adults) took the Market & Cicchetti Venice Food and Wine Tour on our first full day in Venice, and it was one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Daniela, was an absolute pleasure to spend the morning with. As a local, she shared so much knowledge about the market, seasonal produce, seafood, Venetian food culture, and the history of Venice itself. The tour was educational, fascinating, and, of course, delicious! We especially enjoyed strolling through the quieter backstreets while Daniela pointed out details and shared insights along the way. The short gondola ride was icing on top of the cake! This was truly one of our favorite experiences in Italy. Thank you, Daniela (and LivTours Venice), for a memorable morning in Venice!
