View on Google MapsWe took the self-guided option of the tour and we are very delighted as we got the wine tasting at a beautiful mansion with a very experienced sommelier, tried more types of wine than advertised and had all the guides notes for Varna in an electronic guide. Very flexible, cost effective and well done.
Came again with business visitors and fully enjoyed Varna with its architecture, food and great wines. We were brought to a mansion which is unique and had the full wine tasting experience there with food without counting. Its great!
There was some confusion about the tour availability and meeting times and I had to rechedule the wine tasting. But in the end the city tour was informative with a very interesting and knowledgeable guide. The wine tasting was also really nice, and I got to try some nice wines in a beautiful location just outside the city.

This tour is offered in two options - self-guided and privately-guided. We got a bit of both as we arranged that on spot. Both options are worth and priced differently. Varna is worth seeing and exploring.
It's good when you have a base to compare. I tried 2 other tours in Varna showing different aspects of the city and I enjoyed this the most. I recommend the guide, his knowledge and the wine tasting!
We booked this tour while we were with my friends in Varna. It was part of our pre-scheduled program to show them the best of the best and why moving to Bulgaria is worth. First, the French influence in Varna is strong, so many buildings have got it, it's amazing. Second, our guide! Wow! One of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met! Like an encyclopedia, even better as it's live! Third, the wine tasting presented us with the best boutique wines you could have in Bulgaria. No comment, trying is believing! Super tour!
We booked a wine/food tasting tour with the agency for a bachelorette party in Varna.We started with a walking tour about an hour , then we went to a traditional winery and spend about 2 hours there tasting different kind of wines and local food.Everything were very well organized, the tour guide was quite helpful and kind. It's a great way to spend the day and to see the city from s different angle :)
