From the very beginning, he was incredibly communicative via WhatsApp—warm, flexible, and immediately trustworthy. There wasn’t a single moment where I felt worried or uncertain that things wouldn’t work out. He is deeply knowledgeable and truly lives and breathes Balinese culture, which made every stop feel meaningful rather than scripted. Spending the day with him was a real pleasure. One of the highlights was an impromptu stop at a local coffee farm—something unplanned that ended up being a memorable and unique experience. I really appreciated his flexibility and adaptability throughout the day. Murdock is the perfect combination of professional, personable, and genuinely kind. He’s someone you instantly feel comfortable with, and his passion for what he does shows. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone lucky enough to tour Ubud with him.

This was a fantastic way to get to see the sites around Ubud without having to worry about any of the logistics. Murdock was an excellent guide and driver, personalizing stops for us and keeping us comfortable all along the way. We learned so much about Balinese culture that we wouldn’t have gotten from a guide book. Anyone would be lucky to spend the day with Murdock.

We had an excellent experience on this tour which is exactly as promised in the itinerary. We were picked up from our hotel and taken to all the destinations planned. They were all beautiful and the Monkey Forest is a stand out and a must see for Ubud visitors of any age. If you like to post to instagram you will probably also enjoy the rice paddies with the big swings and zip lines. Lunch exceeded expectations in terms of both the location and the food which was delicious, the main course you could choose from a menu. Our guide Yudi was fantastic. He was polite, punctual, very respectful and extremely knowledgeable about Bali and Balinese culture. If you are wanting a stress free day trip to exceptional locations with a knowledgeable guide, I would highly recommend this tour.
