I cannot write more highly about an outing than this experience through Blue Ginger Picnics. My wife and I travel a lot and eat out even more. I wanted a top quality surprise of a "Picnic on the Beach" that would overwhelm her. I am pedantic and really appreciate presentation and attention to detail. I selected a Luncheon menu, the venue being the beach at the front of our Hotel (Peppers at Salt where we return year after year to escape) and the Le Chic Picnic for two. The food was delightful, with a great range of snacks and cheese (the cheese covered in farm honey and pecans - woohoo), fresh garden crudités (vegetables grown locally) with an amazing Pesto, and so much more. Accompanied by fresh salad wraps that were too large to finish. I chose to take our own Champagne and use the gorgeous crystal cut glassware provided. The setting could not be improved upon with a low hand-made table staging our food. Linen napkins, blue and white cushions and all matched to represent a day on the Beach in the Maldives or Seychelles. Our hostess provided options to meet her upon arrival or to simply have her disappear into the background so that it all looked like it had appeared by magic. Our hostess, Tania (the Owner) was simply wonderful, liaising with me as we approached the big day due to weather concerns. Offering to relocate the picnic on the day as it was rather windy and she was worried that we would not have as much privacy was we might like in the spot that I had nominated. A really beautiful person and one who made our day, and made for a romantic weekend. Do visit their website.
