View on Google MapsThe weather was exceptional. We all enjoyed the informative and fun tour from catching crabs, feeding pelicans and fishing, to learning about how oysters harvest. We chose a weekend, at the end of the school holidays so it wasn't overly busy. My 85 year old father to my 6 year old grand daughter all had a great time. Not too long. A great way to spend the morning and a delicious lunch afterwards. Only negative was that we weren't informed by our booking provider, not Catch a Crab, that even though they are situated in NSW, they run on the QLD time zone. We are local people who would highly recommended this tour.
My son and I went for a fun day out and wasn't disappointed! We had a great time catching crabs, fishing, feeding pelicans, and sightseeing around the local waterways. We had a great time! My son keeps asking when we can go back again! The staff were super friendly, relaxed, and very informative. And the crabs we caught were huge (and tasty!).

Highly recommend for a unique, exciting, and memorable family outing. Everyone left happy and already asking to go back!
great trip - so happy we chose it with our grandchildren to provide them with this experience- captain very informative about the river environment and oyster and crab life cycles - with fun activities for the kids
Highly recommend this tour. We took the seafood lunch and it was good. We also booked the afternoon tour (because the morning was fully booked) but it was perfect as there were less people and it was easier to talk to everybody . Enjoyed the tour guide comments, he was thoroughly entertaining.
We had a wonderful time on this tour, pumping yabbies, feeding pelicans and seagulls, learning about oysters and crabs, tried fishing, pulling up the crab traps and crab tasting. Highly recommended. Special thanks to the skipper Dave. He remained calm but quickly steered the boat back to shore and directed us to the nearest hospital when our youngest daughter had a seizure like episode towards the end of the tour.
Fantastic. Didn't catch fish but caught lots of crabs and yabbies. Tour guide was good. Lunch was delicious crab . .. but the ones we caught but maybe the lucky folks the day before!
We really enjoyed this tour. A well equipped boat with life jackets, drinks for sale, covered to protect from weather and bathroom facilities. Informative and fun. Yabbying, mud crabs, fishing and pelican feeding. We then enjoyed a very nice seafood lunch including a whole mud crab each.
Very interesting. Great for kids learning about how to get yabbies and fish. Very interesting talk about crabs and oysters.
Unreal day on the Catch A Crab Tour. It exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped on board, Garry and Dave made the whole thing feel personal, relaxed, and just brilliant. They were super friendly and down to earth, always ready with answers. No question was too silly, and no detail was overlooked. Whether it was crab trapping, feeding the pelicans, or exploring the oyster farm, they guided us with lots of local knowledge. The scenery was gorgeous, and the whole experience was engaging from start to finish. If you are after something memorable where you learn, laugh, catch crustaceans, and enjoy a cracking day on the Tweed River, this is it. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
