Private Customizable Walking Tour of Tokyo

We had a wonderful time with Keiko on our Tokyo Tour. As we had limited time in Japan, so we opted for a private tour and did not regret it! Keiko was early when meeting us and was extremely prepared throughout our tour. We saved so much time not navigating around, and Keiko created a great tour itinerary with our requests, and we had some time to spare at the end as well. We visited Gotokuji temple as well as Meiji Shrine and Setagaya Hachimangu Shrine. We had time to stop for lunch along the way as well as to a few gift shops. We are non-fish eating vegetarians, which can be difficult in Japan, and Keiko was prepared with several options for lunch. We really appreciated being taught all of the proper customs and how to be a respectful tourist to these temples and shrines. We could not have been happier with our tour and had an absolutely lovely time on our tour.

Miko was the kindest tour guide ever. She was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Tokyo and showed us amazing places to eat and get snacks. By the end of the tour, it felt like she was part of the family and I wish we could’ve spent our whole trip with her!

We had a great day touring Tokyo with Keiko. Having spent several days visiting historic sites around Tokyo, we wanted to visit places where we could observe and to experience modern Japanese culture and shopping. Keiko did a fantastic job showing us around and we all had a great day with her.

Keiko was fabulous! So knowledgeable and friendly with excellent English. She was patient when our group of 7 went off track on our full day tour and accommodated our interests. She was an excellent tour guide and also emailed us all after the tour with photos and follow up on our questions or recommendations for our forward travel. Keiko who was our guide for the walking tour was fabulous. Knowledgeable and caring, it was like having a friend share the highlights of Tokyo with us. We enjoyed customizing the walking tour with her and she was able to relay so much about the history around Tokyo and each area we visited. It was also great that she reviewed the subway system, very easy to navigate but nice to have the explanations. We visited the Tsukiji Fish Market tasting at various places along with way. When wanting an electric fan for our daughter, Keiko took us to Don Quixote where they have literally everything. Visiting the Sensoji temple, Japan's oldest dating back to 628, she handed each of us an origami crane she had made the morning. She included a coin in each that we used when making a wish or a prayer in the temple. We highly recommend Hello! Tokyo Tours.

We did the 5 hour walking tour with Miko and we could not have asked for a better first day in Tokyo! Miko was a friendly and knowledgeable guide that put together a wonderful day to span the interests of everyone in our 5 person group.
