Night Hike to Summit of Teide for Sunrise and the Volcano Shadow

Well organised trip. Elena drove us to the start was full of info about the island and the hike. Peter the guide kept us on track to be there just at the right time for the sunrise.

Elena has organized such a great tour for the whole team! She had supplied us with all the necessary equipment, even provided some extra pieces of clothes and warm tea 😃 The tour was greatly timed, so that we’ve seen the sunrise and the Teide shadow without waiting 😍 she also cared for the state of the hikers and motivated during each break, creating a team spirit 😃 such a great experience!

The climb was challenging but Elena took care of us every step of the way! She provided gear for anyone that needed it and also shared snacks, tea and hot cocoa with all of us. She made sure we made it to the summit just in time for sunrise while still stopping several times for pictures when light started to appear in the horizon. The views at the top were so beautiful, definitely worth the effort! The cable car wasn't working so we had to climb the whole way down (the worst part!) but, despite being very tired, it was still a fun experience and we had lots of laughs! Highly recommend!

Great experience & personal challenge, weather was kind for a most memorable trek with Elena & full group of 6. This was one of the best things I’ve done in years! Elena was amazing, hike was very well planned, she kept encouraging us and just made the whole trip so fun! It is not an easy hike mentally and physically but Elena made us feel like real heroes who can do anything! I will cherish memories from this hike forever! Such an unforgettable experience, definitely recommend!

Seeing dawn from the top of mt teide at 3715 m was exhilarating and incredible and inspirational. I highly recommend the experience and the incredible experienced guide Elena who paced us perfectly to the top for dawn. She brought snacks and teas for us for halfway up which were delicious. She taught us as we walking about the endemic plants and the stars and the mountain itself. This was an amazing experience for o see the stars, the moon and the exhilaration of climb. It is a challenge due to altitude and distance but was a fantastic and highly recommended experience.

I highly recommend this excursion. This was by far the best experience of my life. The sunset and the view, was magical and something I will remember forever. The guide Elena, is truly amazing. Her knowledge and experience is exceptional. I struggled adjusting to the altitude but Elena helped me immensely. Elena set the pace based on my ability and I was so grateful. Elena even carried my rucksack for me as she could see I was struggling - dearest Elena, thankyou so much. Do not think twice in relation to booking this excursion. I highly recommend you do because you will not regret it. I can’t wait to do it all over again😁

Absolutely fantastic experience! Thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip, such a fabulous achievement and watching the sunrise across the horizon was breath taking. Our guide was super, looked after all of us and set a great pace. A wonderful lifelong memory to cherish.

Elena was an amazing guide, breaking down the trek into manageable pieces and keeping the group motivated. She was very knowledgeable about the history or Mount Teide. It was an amazing trek with a great guide and group of hikers. A definite highlight of our trip to the Canary Islands.
