View on Google MapsThe boat tour was fun, with lots of facts about the area and wildlife, and of course the bridges. The staff were friendly and had lots of extra stories and fun facts to offer as we sailed. Getting off at Incholm Island was the highlight, the Abbey had so much to see, plus walking to the war area was great too. Going through that tunnel and then the views from the top, amazing. Would absolutely recommend the boat tour with the island stop!
We thoroughly enjoyed this 90 minute cruise, viewing the 3 bridges up close and also spending time cruising other areas of the harbour. We were able to see several groups of seals. The crew were friendly and informative. I would recommend this excursion.
We thoroughly enjoyed this boat trip. Great views of the three bridges, and plenty to see travelling around the Firth of Forth. Staff were very helpful. Also, due to mobility issues among our party, we rang in advance to find out which trip would be the easiest for boarding due to tides, they were very helpful and we found boarding (and disembarking) really straightforward.

Relaxing and informative. We enjoyed hearing the history of the area and the view was beautiful. Fog at the start quickly changed to a sunny day
A brilliant trip - the boat was great with plenty of space outside to move around and take photos. The commentary was very interesting and we learned a lot about the history and the construction of the three bridges. The captain slowed the boat and carefully manoeuvred so we could see some huge seals resting on a buoy. Inchcolm island and the Abbey were delightful - plenty to walk round and see and lots of history. The staff on the boat and island were friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this tour.
Simply excellent. Great commentary lots of history on the cruise about the surrounding area and the 3 bridges. Crew are fantastic, great value.
Excellent trip, informative, funny, great staff...could have gone for another 90 minutes. Plenty of seals...well worth the money! Staff were great with wheelchair access...
Once off the train from Edinburgh, we had difficulty finding Hawes Pier. Got lost and turned around a few times. The locals were very helpful but it is difficult to give directions to total strangers. We walked down some very treacherous, rotting, slippery wooden steps.Better signage would help. The staff on board the vessel were very informative. Loved seeing Incholm Island- wish we had gotten off to explore but it was a little rainy. A tour well worth doing if visiting Edinburgh.
Great experience and history lesson, we absolutely loved it. The information during the 90 minute trip was fantastic, a lot of History and stories I never knew about. My mum is 78 and she loved it also. Would highly recommend.
Interesting information and a lovely couple of hours on the water. We went as my husband was very interested in the bridges, recommend
