View on Google Maps
During my week in Egypt, this trip was by far the highlight. We had people from all age groups and backgrounds on the excursion and everyone had a similarly great time. For anyone who wants to truly experience the wonders of the desert with extremely knowledgable guides (Hazim was the best), I couldn’t recommend this outfit more.
The desert landscapes are truly magical; truly a gem among the deserts of this world! The tour is organized efficiently and our driver/guide Hassan works with great conviction and passion for the desert. Once at the basecamp it is wonderful to stay on top of a rock or in a quiet meditative spot. The sunrise is truly special! There is good cooking and a campfire in the desert is a back-to-basics feeling. That the tents are already set up is pure luxury. The jeeps are cool and well adapted to off-road driving. Tip: I would have liked to read in the description that the camping equipment was provided, because I doubted that for a while: here: a mat, warm sleeping bag of good quality, a blanket is available for every participant.

Must do tour if you are looking to explore desert of Egypt. All the stops - White Desert, Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, are great. And since it's a desert and there is no light and clouds, night sky looks amazing. Having said that, the tour has a potential to be an incredible adventure. The tour starts early in the day with boarding a comfortable van which stops at gas stations for coffee, snacks and toilets(not included). Finally the van stops at a village where the okay-ish lunch and snacks are served(included). There are multiple vans and people(not many, in total may be 40-50 people) from them are then divided into 4 people per 4x4 vehicle. You will not meet them until the end of the tour(which is great, feels kind of personal tour). Everything from hereon feel very rushed because the tour is chasing sunset in White Desert, which btw is incredible. But in that process, stops for other activities become very short and the fun kinda feels stop midway. For example, there is a stop for sand boarding and the view is also amazing but you only get to board once because either another group is joining or it's getting late. Similarly, you get to climb a hill of black stones, again amazing views, but you only have like 20 minutes. I went till halfway and it was an amazing photography spot. At the peak it must have been better, couple of quick climbers got up there. We did this tour in Dec'25, its comfortably sunny at that time even at peak noon. I think they can alter the tour a little at that time of year. One of the activity can be done in the morning of the second day which can give everything ample amount of time IMO. Additionally, it would be great to have like a portable toilet at the camping spot instead of going out in the open(I get it, it's an adventure). But since every bit of the experience is controlled, why save on toilet. It will also allow making the 2nd day a bit eventful by moving an activity otherwise everyone was just waiting to reach to village spot for access to a toilet. I believe the food option can also be improved at the village spot. I am vegetarian so I understand the limited options but a better vegetarian Egyptian food will do, a lot. Everything said, go for it!
We had a magical experience on our white desert tour. We had the best guide and driver, Ahmud, we were camping in a small group and everything was perfect. The stars are magical, the food was delicious, and the rides were so much fun thanks to Ahmud. Best tour you can do in Egypt.
Excellent experience, very well organized, amazing scenery, exceptional desert dinner. Obviously the overnight stay is spartan, but aligned to the type of experience. The only small disappointment, the hot springs are simple tubs on the sides of a road.
Great experience, long car journeys but well worth it. Our guide was fantastic, giving us the opportunity to go sandboarding, cooked good food and made us comfortable.
We had a very nice gide, who let us time to explore. He was very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience. Wonderful nature. Great sleeping under the stars. Very good Barbecue. We were very happy, thank you
Excellent option to visit the Black and White desert including a night under the stars in a camp made especially for us with everything you could need. Amir in the perfect organization and Bedra who was our driver, set up camp, cooked us delicious food right there and accompanied us in everything. They made it a wonderful experience. Thank you.
Walid was a very friendly guide. He took good care of us and made sure that we had a good time. Cannot thank him enougj for the magical experience.
