Haben statt 75 Minuten Landmannslauga nur 30 Minuten über dem Gletscher für über 600 Euro bekommen. 15 Minuten hin und 15 Minuten zurück. EMPFEHLUNG: Immer vor Ort fragen, meistens Platz und SEHR viel preiswerter als hier auf der Plattform
Aufgrund des Wetters war leider nur ein verkürzter Rundflug möglich, was dem Erlebnis aber keine Abbruch tut. Der Pilot war super freundlich und hatte einige interessante Informationen zu der Gegend zu erzählen. Das Personal allgemein sehr freundlich und aufgrund des verkürzten Rundflug gab es selbstverständlich einen Preisnachlass. Definitiv zu empfehlen.

We do recommend to book the Ultimate Skaftafell Airplane Tour with the company Atlantsflug. It was one of the best experience in our lives!!! It is impossible to describe how amazing and beautiful Iceland is from the airplane. During 1,5 hour we saw a big area including glaciers, lakes, mountains etc. Our pilot was very friendly and he shared a lot of interesting information with us during the trip. If we have a chance to repeat this activity, we will definitely do it! It is worth it!
Excellent Experience would recommend to anyone. No Pictures can ever show you how amazing the views are from above such a beautiful country. Our kids said this is the highlight of their trip! And there were a lot of amazing places The staff and pilot were excellent and very accommodating and would highly recommend using them if you want to see Skaftafell and the Largest glacier in Iceland
Great flight for first time fliers. Good explanation of the terrain we were flying over. Friendly and hospitable,well worth the cost.
This was an incredible way to see more of the landscape than what most people are able to see. We flew over Glaciers, Volcanoes, Glacial lagoons and so much more. The pilot was very good and knowledgeable about the areas we were flying over.
You need to be a little flexible with respect to time, as they may need to adjust for weather/people. We booked a 10:30 in Skaftafell but we were asked if we could move later to 12:30 so there would be a full flight. We were happy to oblige, since we were driving out from Reykjavik (4 hour drive). There is a lot to do on the way - beaches and numerous waterfalls. There were some clouds over Landmannalaugar, so our pilot asked for our approval of a slightly different flight plan and we flew over some other areas (Jokulsarlon). Flight time was also extended 15 min as an extra treat. The flight was extremely smooth and our pilot was experienced, knowledgeable and conscientious. I am an anxious flyer and he would let us know when we were going to get a little turbulence and I was able to mentally prepare. The views are gorgeous. I never thought we would see so many different types of terrain. Some of it looked alien! It was the best sightseeing tour I've ever taken, and we have so many fantastic photos.
