She described in detail many of the town’s historical sites, including large monuments and small hidden points of interest. We highly recommend this tour. This is the tour to take If you want to learn more about Sibiu and its history.
Ella was very knowledgeable and her English was excellent. She took us up the city bell tower and showed us the most important buildings, churches, monuments and fortifications. We also got to visit the American Corner on the top floor of the Sibiu library.
Our guide hardly had any interesting anecdotes or facts about Sibiu. Maybe we thought so because her English was quite basic

Wir hatten das große Vergnügen, eine Stadtführung mit Ella durch Sibiu zu erleben – und es war einfach fantastisch! Ella ist eine unglaublich kompetente und herzliche Stadtführerin, die stets auf unsere Wünsche und Bedürfnisse eingegangen ist. Auf unseren Wunsch hin zeigte sie uns sogar eine Dachterrasse bei der Bibliothek, von der aus wir einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt genießen konnten. Ihr historisches Wissen über Sibiu und Rumänien ist beeindruckend, und sie hat uns spannende Einblicke in die Geschichte gegeben. Aber das war noch nicht alles – Ella war auch mit tollen Tipps für Ausflüge ins Umland und köstliche Restaurants ausgestattet, die wir unbedingt ausprobieren mussten. Alles in allem eine unvergessliche Tour, die wir wärmstens weiterempfehlen können. Vielen Dank, Ella!
Wonderful tour with Linus from Carpathian Travel Center. You can book online or go to Info Point at Piaţa Huet. He was so knowledgeable of Romanian history and wove fascinating stories of Romanian history with the development of this fascinating city.
Truly enjoyed learning about the history of Sibiu. Our guide was both knowledgeable and personable, which made our walk through the center of town a pleasure.
The tour is very interesting and the guide explains very well all the historical moments of Sibiu. Highly recommended to know the history of the city and the main monuments.

We met Florian at 10. Our tour was just us two and we spent a couple of hours walking round his lovely city which he gave us the history and background to and put things into context so we can enjoy the rest of our break in Sibiu. Highly recommended and a great character. I think he gauges his audience well!
