Wir haben den Ausflug sehr genossen und ist super organisiert. Wir hatten genügend Zeit die Insel und die Lagune zu entdecken
Highly recommend this tour. We loved exploring Sugba Lagoon and because we left early (8am), we were the only tourists there for the first half an hour. Our guide was very attentive and offered to take photos for us. The day didn’t feel rushed at all and we had time to explore, but also relax in all three locations. The tour guide and driver were so accommodating and even stopped at a bakery for us to get some food in the morning. This has been the highlight of our Siargao trip and it’s not just because of the beautiful scenery we saw today but also because of the friendliness of the staff involved. Big shout out to Joseph for looking after us for the day and to Elvis for his wealth of knowledge and travel tips for our future travels. We would happily book tours with this company in the future.
Although this Private tour was well-organized and the places we visited were amazingly beautiful we were disappointed with our tour guide. His English was very poor so most of the time we did not understand what we needed to do or what we are supposed to do next. He was a bit pushy - almost forcing us to take photos in some places. In addition, every place you visit has some additional fees which aren’t big but they quickly add up and are rather annoying. Following are more details about each location. We were picked up from our hotel in General Luna at 7 AM - it was a 1-hour ride to the Sugba Lagoon entrance. We rented Snorkeling equipment from the dock (150P) and then took a boat through the Lagoon (30 mins). The Lagoon is extremely beautiful and we had a great time (although the boat's motor was quite loud). We arrived at the famous jump spot and we did quite a lot of jumps. It was pretty early in the morning (9 AM) so we avoided lots of tourists and crowds. We swam around the area since the water was very warm and welcoming. We then rented 2 paddle boards for 300P each (which I really recommend) and started cruising in the lagoon which was a very peaceful and pleasant experience. You can rent canoes here if you’d prefer. They also offer glass-bottom canoes. We hopped in our boat and made our way to Pamomoan Beach. We were almost forced to rent a cabana there for 300P and buy lunch in a restaurant run by a local family. The beach is pretty small and the restaurant is the only building that you will see there. They offer fresh fish and they cook it very well. Everything was actually delicious - I just wanted the experience to not feel so pushy. The beach environment is amazing - it has the greenest and the softest grass and has beautiful sights to behold and take photos of. I also did some snorkeling but it was rather uninteresting. We then took our boat and traveled 100 meters away to the nearby island called Kawhagan where we were able to relax for an hour. The environment is very similar to the previous island so I think this could be skipped in general. After our chill time, we took our boat back to the starting dock, and our driver took us to our hotel.

Mooie lagune, mogelijkheden tot kajakken en peddelen, door de tyfoon van enkele jaren geleden, wel geen mogelijkheden meer om te relaxen en te eten, het zag er vroeger veel beter uit 😉
Terrible Experience! It is not worth spending your money in this tour, while it may seem enticing to get there.. as a tourist, the local government / locals seem to charge you "environmental fees" where ever you go. Hey Philippines. ;( Pamomoan island too (30 php) - reasons it is a private island. I have ordered food here and the food is neither fresh nor fast.. it is also pricy. Sugba lagoon offers a nice clear water to dive as they have a dive deck there but you're required to rent a table for 100 php. Water activities include kayaking (300 php), Stand up paddle boats (300 php), Kayaks (300 php), Crystal kayaks (500 php). Kauhagan Island is no different from pamomoan as it is right across, however, the beach in Pamomoan is better. Renting a boat will cost you 3500 regardless of number of pax, on top of an environmental fee which will only cover Sugba Lagoon. Plus the boat men and the community did not take any initiative to learn and love their surroundings. Boat men were quiet. No initiative taken to orient tourists, local and foreign alike, despite the excessive environmental fees charged to you. It must be going somewhere.
We love the seafoods at the local restaurant in Kawhagan Island. Is being prepared by the local. Nice people.
