Full-Day Private Biking Trip to Shimla Mountain with Lunch

The idea of a bike tour in India was very attractive, but the organization and structure of the activity leave room for improvement. We don’t just cross India for a bike ride in the forest; it would be interesting to incorporate more tourist and cultural attractions to enrich the experience. The itinerary sometimes seemed improvised, with no real conductor, which somewhat reduced the interest of the circuit. In addition, the level of difficulty of the route should be clearly indicated to the participants. Some climbs are particularly demanding and the descents sometimes resemble downhill, which is not accessible to everyone. A better explanation of physical expectations before booking would avoid surprises and allow everyone to make an informed choice. The experience still has beautiful assets – beautiful scenery and a change of scenery – but a better balance between physical effort and cultural discovery, as well as more precise communication about the level of difficulty, would make it a much more attractive activity.

We had an awesome time with our guide David. The bikes were really good and David did his best to adjust the tour according to our wishes and fitness level. It was real fun exploring with him the surprisingly calm surrounding of Shimla by bike.
