View on Google MapsDefinitely recommend this experience (and the night food tour) early on during your time in Shanghai. We loved cooking with the chef and learning the history. Plenty of food to eat as a result of your cooking too!
Really had a great time learning to cook. English is excellent. Menu is delicious, pace was great! Chef Mike is awesome and family style dining great fun afterward! Wonderful experience!

The experience was incredible! Chef Linda is super nice, a very good teacher and well English speaker. She taught us how to prepare the 4 happiness dumplings and the big wontons. They tasted wonderful at the end of the experience. There are also several other different options. We highly recommend it! Also the place is super nice and they explain well how to reach it.
Cooking class was really fun. The teacher was very kind and immediately corrected my wrong steps and I was really happy to learn how to make Shanghai Xiaolongbao in such a short time. After the lesson, the teacher also sent me a detailed video of how to make the frost, which was a great experience.
Excellent cooking class, everything turned out looking amazing, would 100% recommend to anyone coming to Shanghai
Our instructor, Chef Linda, was very friendly and explained the dumpling making steps clearly in English. We were so happy with the results and could even bring our creations home to eat. She helped us throughout the process and even explained other ways to fold dumplings. Truly a pleasant experience worth trying!
We really enjoyed our first time making xiaolongbao and siu mai with Chef Linda ☺️ She made our experience fun and memorable! Nice piece of Shanghai to take home with us ☺️
A must do authentic experience in Shanghai. Mike was a patient and fun head chef who spoke excellent English. We made all our items from scratch and did all parts of the course ourselves. It was fun, learned some new skills in the kitchen, and finished it off eating it all with our Chef for lunch! We loved it!!💕 Authentic environment with a real kitchen 🥟Do yourself a favor and do something different than the typical tourist stuff! This is great fun and lots of food to eat too! We made Dumplings and Spring Rolls. Do it!!! You won’t regret it!!!
A must do authentic experience, Mike was a wonderful patient teacher with excellent English. We made everything from scratch and did all parts of the experience ourselves. It was so much fun, highly competitive in our family to see who could make the best Lol. We made dumplings and spring rolls and enjoyed them with our Chef Mike at the end of the course. Super fun, do it you will have a fun and different experience. Definitely orginal and not like a large tour - very personalized service
