John did a fantastic job. He has such great knowledge of the Pike market. So much history. We saw places we never would’ve been able to see without him with us. He took us to some really cool little bars where we were able to purchase the kind of drinks we liked versus having them pick them for us. Cannot ask for a better experience and worth every penny!
The happy hour tour was a blast for our party of 6! While walking through Pike Place to the bars John told us some history of Pike Place. We visited a few unique places that we would of missed, listened to sound check at the Rabbit Box and even met Neal the fishmonger who had the best smoked salmon. It was a great evening and John was the BEST GUIDE!

I have done a lot of viator tours in cities and this is 100% my favorite. John had so much history with the market and had friends at every bar in the area. He made you feel like a local hanging out at some of the most fun bars I’ve ever been to. What an amazing experience!! If you’re visiting Seattle and like good drinks and fun you have to do this tour.

Awesome tour with John! As a local, I’ve been around Pike Place quite a bit, but John showed me many places I didn’t know and helped us meet market artists, fishermen, and restaurant owners. It’s great to see the market when it’s after dark and quiet and still know that there’s a lot of life there! It’s a BYOB (buy your own booze tour) but we did get a free drink and some free food as well, plus happy hour prices made for some affordable drinks! Would 100% recommend, even to locals.
Top notch tour I would recommend to friends and family. John is part of the pike market family and made us feel as if we were part of that family as well. Amazing night where we had some great drinks, saw awesome one of a kind bars and met some great people. I’ll go again next time we come to Seattle. Thanks John for a great experience.
