View on Google MapsIt’s a fantastic way to see that part of the state. The boat is very quiet and comfortable. Lots of bird watching. They say there are otters and dolphins but we didn’t catch any our round.
Wow! What a fantastic time this was and a truly special experience. We can’t stop talking about our private cruise down the river. It felt like a dream. Loved how intimate the boat is and that we were able to stay warm with the walls up. We brought to go sandwiches and a bottle of prosecco and enjoyed it out on the water. It felt like our own little world, a real moment in time. Two hours felt like four. Captain Taryn was absolutely perfect! She’s so down to earth and educated us on a lot of great birds that we saw. She’s a kind soul who made everyone feel so welcomed aboard. Looking forward to doing this again!! Thank you to the whole Joyride Boat Club team! 🩷
This ride was so peaceful and the boat is so quiet. Taryn was an amazing captain. She was so informative and friendly. Everyone should try this!

This is a wonderful way to visit the salt marsh without getting your feet wet! The electric boat is charming, comfortable and quiet. Our captain was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and vegetation, a skilled boat handler and personable to boot. It felt like a friend taking us out for a spin instead of the canned patter one often gets on tours. Highly recommended- I'll go again if I'm in Savannah in the future. This is a good choice if you are interested in the salt marsh (as we were) or you are bringing the party.
Owners and captains super personable and knowledgeable; electric boat a whole new experience in a great way; beautiful area to explore by boat.
This Joyride boat tour was AWESOME! It was easy to book and the instructions for where to meet were clear. Also, we received a text from a real person, Audra, and she was so great. Answered our questions then met us at the boat where we joined captain Ellie for a delightful 2-hour marsh tour. Ellie was lovely and knowledgeable and we had a wonderful and relaxing ride. The boat was equipped with a cooler full of ice and water, a speaker, and adorable branded paper goods. We couldn’t have asked for a better boat ride experience.
This was an incredible experience. Exactly what my wife and I were hoping for. Relaxing boat cruise where we saw dolphins, turtles and all sorts of beautiful birds along the way. Our guide, Captain Malcolm, was informative and fun. Would recommend and will look forward to when we can go again.
Everything about our experience was wonderful - booking the experience, communicating with owner Audra via text before our vintage boat ride in Savannah, a friendly greeting to make sure we were all set, the pristine boat equipped with ice, napkins, cups and plates, music provided, knowledge on the area, and safety on the water…..we loved it all! We had the best time with our fabulous captain and can’t wait to book again with them!! Celebrating a milestone in this special way was extra memorable because of these sweet people.
This was a wonderful experience. We saw lots of wildlife and some very fancy yachts on the Wilmington river. In the future, Joyride plans to add an electric runabout to take clients to the Savannah river to see downtown.
Had a top-ten-day weather day on the Wilmington River with Captain Malcolm of Joyride. Reserved the electric, retro-style boat fitted with leather banquettes that comfortably sat three couples and a dining table that was the perfect place for cocktails and lunch. Bluetooth speakers played our favorite tunes while we floated along. We asked lots of questions about lowcountry waters and nature. Captain knew all the answers. Management is really nice and very organized. We all felt very welcome and taken care of.
