Erica was super nice and provided good guidance so our chopsticks would come out as good as possible. The studio felt like a hole in the wall, something you wouldn’t even know to look for. But, the atmosphere was super warm and me, and the rest of my family, thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
We both loved this class. Using authentic tools to make a set of chopsticks was a great time. Erica was a fantastic and patient teacher. I highly recommend taking her classes (we also did the ramen noodle making class). Pick a wood blank and use the tools... good luck.

Erika is a wonderful host, fun and informed and friendly. We were able to select our own wood blanks from a multitude of species, and use authentic Japanese tools to make our own chopsticks. Highly recommend this experience as a fun and unique opportunity. Thank you, Erika!
Such a great experience. Erica was so lovely and helpful. We went in the evening and it was just the two of us with Erica. She was very friendly though and we had a great time.

Great experience! Erika was patient and thorough in her explanation of how to make the chopsticks. Some history would be nice while carving to fill the space. Definitely recommended!
