View on Google MapsThe street art tour was exceptional. A beautiful two hours spent wandering the streets Barrio Yungay to learn about the artists and the subjects of the murals we were viewing. Our thanks to Francisca, our guide, who was informative and lovely. A terrific way to spend a morning in Santiago.
This tour was excellent. I had previously walked around the barrio but missed some pieces. In particular, I didn't know about some of the massive pieces such as the one on the apartment tower. But especially valuable was the history and stories behind the art works--many derive from political and social challenges in the country. We saw some picturesque streets and restaurants too. I wondered where the "Yungay" came from and Hector explained that. Many thanks to Hector for a wonderful tour.
A lovely evening walking the Yungay neighborhood and learning about the recent history, art and culture of Chile with a local. Especially poignant given the political changes occurring here and around the world. I was able to add a few really cool restaurants and bars to my list for the future too.
We had a great time on the Yungay streets art tour. Francisca was a great guide who gave us lots of great information. Also sent us a list of food and restaurants to try while in Santiago. Thank you
Wonderful experience. Our guide Hector was knowledgable and friendly. Appreciated having a chance to explore a part of Santiago we may not have been able to had we not booked. Lots of history.
The guide was really friendly and informative. He knew it all and would share his passion openly. It was really nice company and the tour is well thought out. The itinerary is very nice and he knew all the tips!
Hector has been a great tour guide; very informative, knowledgeable and pleasant- he gave the historic, political and social aspect which we did enjoy massively- highly recommended!!!
Very very nice tour. Very informative. And political background explained 👍😊😊. I definitely recommend to do the tour. You will get a different perspective of town
If you want to learn how past influences the present, and how politics is an undercurrent that is ever present in Chile book a tour with this wonderful bunch of people. Educative, diverse, and engaging - do yourself a favour and go with them, it’s much more than just looking at stuff.
The tour with Héctor was very informativ and well guided. He told us a lot of insight about the street art and related history of the neigbourhood. I can highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in art and culture. Thanks Héctor!
