View on Google MapsThese tours are outsourced to any available boat captains and any available tour guides for that day. Booking here online is just booking with a middleman booking agency, not a specific tour. Booking online guarantees a reservation, yes, but also guarantees a premium fee and not necessarily a premium experience. If I had to do it again, I would have booked in person unless I wanted to experience this tour on my first or second day in the Galapagos and didn’t have time to shop around. There are dozens of these middleman booking agencies on the islands and you can book the same thing in person at a discount. This tour was booked by Eco Challenger who had poor communication in my experience. The tour experience itself was as advertised and Kicker rock was the first stop and the highlight by a long shot. Honestly, if you could find a tour with longer time spent at Kicker rock, that would be a better experience. Eco Challenger, the booking agency responsible for booking this tour was frustrating to communicate with. Eco Challenger gave instructions to arrive a day in advance for a wetsuit fitting, without clear directions of where to go. When we asked them to clarify where to go, the same vague directions from the TripAdvisor page were regurgitated. They were also not there when we finally found their store. When we finally met them in person, we asked if it was possible for them to book us a ferry to Santa Cruz Island while we were on this tour. They said yes, but when our tour completed 8 hours later, they had not done it and the ferry was sold out. We had to subsequently change our itinerary for the rest of our trip. Following the tour, we were told we would receive our videos and photos that same day or the next. I had to follow up with them for 4 days before they finally sent them. Had I not bothered them for these, I know I would have never received the videos and photos.

Flawless day. Everything you can imagine seeing, and then some. Snorkeling above 8 hammerheads is indescribable. Turtles galore. Sea lions everywhere. Other sharks. Millions (?) of fish.
This was by far the best snorkel excursion I’ve ever done. If you are going to the Galapagos and want to see cool marine life, you NEED to do this. Alejandro was our guide and went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best. Worth every penny.
Alejandro and his crew took very good care of us. There were always hot drinks and snacks in between snorkeling and there was also Dramamine for those who felt seasick. We saw so many different marine life, the water was a little rough and cold but it was worth it! Highly recommend doing this tour.
I booked the trip for my family of six. I received a confirmation with little information, there was no WhatsApp number to contact the tour operator directly. I sent them an email to confirm and they responded in 24 hours. Their phone number and email address is not based in Ecuador. Then I got a WhatsApp message from a local agency, Eco Challenger Galapagos to confirm the time for gathering. In the day of the trip, we met at Eco to get the equipment then we walked to the pier. Where we met our guide and then we got on boat named Golden Reel with other six people. The boat was exactly the size, it felt snuggly but ok. The boat crew was nice and helpful, the had a chef who prepared lunch and snacks for us. The first half was smooth sailing. We got to Kicker rock, and we were dropped for our first snorkeling, but it was crowded with other boats and it was tough to get into the water with all the boars swirling around. The guide (Angel) was paying half attention to us, seems to be busy most of the time with chatting with the crew than telling us what to expect or checking on us. That continued to be the theme for the rest of the trip, and it only got worse when the water started to be chubby to take us from Bahia Sardine to Rosa Blanco Bahia, which lasted for 45 min with rough water only to reach Rosa Blanco and find it very foggy, with very poor visibility. Other similar trips I took, they guide tweak the spots based on weather condition, so you get the best experience socially if it was much higher fare than the equivalent 360 trips. In Rosa Blanca my son and I got wounded by the sharp rocks, while getting into the bay, as well as another lady from the other group. The guide didn’t bother to warn us of the rocks. Then it was another 1.5 hours of choppy waters till we got back. So if I have to make this trip worth it, it would have been only 180 degrees and just half a day, for half the price.
Awesome experience and tour guide was amazing. Highly recommend. Got see amazing sea life and they take amazing pictures for u.
Out of all the excursions I've done in Galapagos this was without a doubt the top. Well organized, safety was high priority, a great guide Alejandro, professional crew, the tour agency made sure I had a well fitted wetsuit and the lunch was really good (vegan requirements is not always so well considered on other trips so this I really appreciated). Unfortunately there were no hammerhead sharks on the day, this is sometimes out of our control, however seeing a pod of at least 4 orcas approaching and swim under the boat definitely made up for it!! Saw many turtles, white tip sharks, playful sealions, rays as well which made it a fantastic day, I really recommend this is the best trip in the Galapagos!!
Excellent experience. A great day out and communication/organisation were perfect. Very safe and sightseeing are amazing
The Guides are great at pointing everything out! It was a great experience that I would definitely do again! The lunch that was served was quite tasty and I am glad they sent the photos they took of our adventure so that I could document and share.
We got short wet suit which is not enough, I strongly recommend full body wet suit. But its nice tour!
