The tour led by a wonderful young man, "Yisroel" was informative, fun very educational. I would highly recommend him if you are looking to learn and enjoy yourself at the same time
Gaia was an incredible guide. She really gave us a great overview of the city center and kept two teenagers engaged.
Our tour guide Fabio met us at the hotel, and we took a taxi to our first attraction. We saw about 9 different piazzas or squares around the city. Every piazza has a church/basilica within the square. Each piazza and basilica was more beautiful than the last. Fabio was knowledgeable and friendly, and thoroughly enjoyed his job.

This was my second tour with Max, and it's great to see Rome through the eyes of someone who loves this city! He's knowledgeable, fun and the time just flies by when you are with him in this wonderful place. I plan to do more....
I live in Rome, and a few weeks ago some relatives came to visit me and my family from the UK, they had booked a tour with Italyrometours with Max, since their eldest son wasn't feeling very well they asked meto join in, I must admit that I was a bit skeptical at first regarding private tour guides in rome but it was led me to a genuinely new experience though I've been living in this country for all my life, I visited Rome in a totally new perspective, the tour itself it was long walk so be sure to wear the right shoes among the squares of Rome. Max is a very nice and competent Tour guide and I fully recommend him.
We had a full day walking tour with Max and it was great! He focused the tour on what we thought was the most interesting…. the why and how rather than when. Rome is one big museum which came alive with Max.
Max was not only a fantastic tour guide, but he also helped plan my engagement at a gorgeous property outside of Rome. Our tour was magical - with express access to top-tourist spots like the Vatican and Colosseum. Max comes on time in a beautiful Mercedes SUV and walks you through the history of Rome. He is very knowledgeable about the city of Rome and Italy as a country. I will never forget when my fiance Pete proposed to me - all with the help of Max. Max took beautiful pictures of us from afar to capture the special moment. I highly recommend Max for your tours! Especially if you're planning something special ;)
We took a guided tour, may I say Perillo Tours. Our time was a beautiful experience. Perillo planned everything so perfect. From the plane reservations to the guided tours to the hotels to the food, oh the food. We had a guide, Paulo who has been with them for 30 plus years. He is the reason you should take the tour. We will take another Italy tour next year and yes Perillo once again.

The English speaking guides were extremely knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. The highlight of our trip, in late September, was a beautiful day spent in the San Gimignano region of Tuscan Wine Country. We had the best time getting to know the Torciano family, who have been making fine wines in the region for the past 300 years, while enjoying samples of great food and of course the wine...oh my... the best wines.
