View on Google MapsWe live in Chesapeake and do a Segway tour with this company every 1-2 years. One of my go-to activities when we get visitors from out of town. Our sons were visiting us from Mississippi and had never really been to Richmond and had never been on segways (ages 35 and 32). They loved it. I had never done the 2 hour tour and also loved this one. Our guide was Julie and she is amazing. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Will be back with our 16 year old grandson in the summer.
Was planning on visiting the river later that day. Didn't know that we would not only get to go to it, we would cross it on the pedestrian bridge. Julie was a great guide and shared lots of good information about the city and its history. We learned a lot here and got some great photo ops. After I took a family's picture at the capitol, they offered to take the three of us. "Sure" I said and we wound up with a good picture of us and Julie, our gude.
Jenny was our guide. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. We missed blacks island because of a folk festiva, but Jenny improvised and took us to other areas.

Most of trip is thru wooded areas, not the city. The wooded trip was nice but expected more of the city,
The Segways are a blast. After the 10 minute training it takes about 5 minutes to feel comfortable driving it. Then it's super fun, I just wanted to go fast! Its a great way to cover a lot of ground and learn about a city. Our guide Andrew was extremely knowledgeable & professional. Highly recommend!
The Segway training was fun and easy. The tour was great! Even though we have lived in Richmond a long time, it was a lot of fun, and we still learned new things.
Learning to ride the Segway was really easy. I was definitely nervous, but the training they give you was perfect. The tour was great! Our guide was super knowledgeable and took us to plenty of spots. I really appreciate the city of Richmond putting these historical monuments up. The scenery is beautiful, the history is rich, and I highly recommend this tour.
I had low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. I loved using the Segway and the tour was informative and fun. The guide, Jenny, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I definitely want to do more tours like this one and so did the rest of our group!
We scheduled a 1 hr landmark tour on an afternoon with 100 degree heat. Despite the weather, our tour guide took us on a fun, comfortable tour of Richmond and we had a blast. Our group included myself and husband (age 40), son (age 15), and grandma (age 75). We had never been in segways and our guide made sure we were confident navigating the Segway safely, and she was so conscientious about the duration and locations of stops. We couldn’t have asked for a more kind, thoughtful tour guide. The receptionist we spoke with over the phone was also very friendly and accommodating. Our family is so grateful for the wonderful memories.
Great time I have done multiple times as family comes to visit. It's fun and informative for showing off our great city!!
