View on Google MapsDid a nice job, I enjoyed the flexibility to do anything during the day rather than a prescribed set of stops. The vehicle was very nice and the driver was professional and knowledgeable
From the moment I sat in the car to the moment I returned to my hotel, this was by far one of the best experiences I have had. The knowledge my guide shared and the wonderful trip to the Middle of the World, "Mitad del Mundo" and the Intiñan Museum then on to Cochasqui (the Pyramids of Ecuador), followed by authtentic Ecuadorian food at the foot of Cochasqui was out of this world. It is a very special place, made even more special by such an amazing guide with such knowledge of the ancient ways. A very authentic experience. I would highly recommend you book this unforgettable guide.
This was an awesome way to do many different things in Quito! It was great to have such a knowledgeable guide to hang out with all day.
Quito is a very nice city to visit but not safe at night. I toured Cotapaxi volcano with guide Vinny which was an incredible experience.
An incredible experience, I learned so much about Ecuador and its culture. The guide made me feel at home, i was amazed by his knowledge and how he answered all my questions, I loved that i could manage my time throughout the day without feeling rushed. The car we traveled in was very comfortable, I recommend it 100%
I highly recommend to book a tour with Edison ! He is an amazing guide who knows everything about the history and traditions of Ecuador. We went to Otavalo and discovered a beautiful waterfall but also artisanal products. We enjoyed a lot our tour, Edison was really patient with us, letting us take our time, explaining us everything. Also, the way to go there was really nice with good view and comfortable sits.
This was my first trip to Ecuador and I planned it before I realized how much there is to see in the country. It is a beautiful country with friendly people I had a wonderful day exploring the Quito area - first the equator (with a lot of fun, scientific facts) followed by a ride up the TelefériQo Cable Car. Make sure to walk to the swings at the top of the cable car. It can be a strenuous hike, especially with the high elevation - close to 13,500 feet, but worth the walk of 1.5 miles, roundtrip. Afterwards, we had a nice lunch downtown Quito. Next, we visited the San Francisco church (lots of 17th and 18th history in the museum). We could have visited a few other sites, but I had done so on my own the previous day. My guide, Kathy, was very knowledgeable and made the trip so much better and enjoyable. I highly recommend her and suggest you request her service when you book your tour. She knew details about everything!! Well worth the price to have a private guide. You also get to decide what you want to do - you aren't stuck in a group that may slow you down. The weather conditions change frequently, from cool and damp to hot and sunny, depending on where you are and the elevation. Make sure to wear multiple layers or bring additional jackets. The top of the cable car can be quite blustery (okay, cold!) with the winds and high elevation, so be prepared.
Vinnie was an excellent tour guide! We were only in Quito for one day and with his tour, we fell in love with the country and can’t wait to come back! He knew so much about every area we traveled to and treated us like family. We would highly recommend this tour.
I asked for an intense agenda and Vinnie met it. Had a great time and he was very patient with me and my trouble with the altitude. Had a great time. Highly recommend.
We spent the day with our guide, Edison, who is an amazing human! He took us up to Mitad al Mundo and regaled us with the history and stories about the area. He is very knowledgeable as well as committed to sharing his culture with guests. Edison has set up a foundation, Awaken, that is working to help the indiginous communties in Ecuador rise out of poverty. He is full of energy and imagination and we felt really good bout helping support his foundation by using his guide service.
