It was a great tour with lots of information. Our guide Eby was fantastic. We loved seeing all the swords used as well as the beautiful scenery!

Eby was our guide and he was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We got to get out of the van to experience locations. I’d watched the how they made the movies dvds years ago but I still learnt some new things. My son is a big fan of the movies and he was not disappointed. Handling some swords was cool. Queenstown is amazing.

We had a funny and very insightful tour today with Trails of Middle Earth. Our guide Eby was so knowledgeable, that even we as pretty hardcore LOTR-fans learned a lot on the way. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved this tour. Ian, our tour guide, was engaging and had great stories. He also helped us get really fun photos and videos. I think I like the movies even more now, knowing more about the filming. I would definitely recommend watching the movies before taking the tour - I think you'll enjoy it more that way. This was one of the most enjoyable things we did on the south island, even with some very rough weather. Thank you!!
