Malecon Julio Izurieta, y, Puerto López 130315, Ecuador
View on Google MapsMy visit to the White Water Community was a very enriching and different experience. This place perfectly combines ancestral history, local culture and nature, making the tour educational and very interesting. During the visit we have a community guide, who explained us about the history of Manteña culture, the customs of the community and the archaeological remains that are preserved in the museum of the site. We also learned about the flora and fauna of the environment. One of the most special moments was the visit to the sulfurous water lagoon, where we could relax and enjoy its natural properties and I could make a mask. They also have a stall where you can buy shampoo, soaps made in an artisanal way. They also have shops in case you fancy an ice cream or eat something.
The community of Agua Blanca is a place full of ancestral history and culture. Here you can learn how the pre-Columbian cultures lived and how their traditions still live to this day.

The Agua Blanca community, located within Machalilla National Park in Puerto López, Ecuador, offers a unique educational experience thanks to its archaeological and cultural wealth, in addition to its focus on community tourism and environmental conservation. A unique time to enjoy as a couple friends or family in general
The beach of Friars is really amazing and its very refreshing sea has a great viewpoint. The Agua Blanca community has a very interesting history and its archaeological pieces represent its past life.
It was nice the tour, a cute experience without a doubt, the experience of putting mud on your face leaves your skin smooth
The bike was bad quality. The guide was nice but did not have added value. The beach was nice, but you can do that yourself too. It is too much payed, for what is offered
A full day to discover and get to know Machalilla National Park in the west of the country. A bike ride to see one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen, then sink into the forest to meet the Manteña culture, share a typical meal and swim in waters with unsuspected properties... I finished the day flushed, but what an adventure!
