View on Google MapsThe tour was unique! In high quality, the guide revived the historical references and explained everything figuratively. The nice, open-minded way took us listeners away and made us empathize well. Simply great and Recommendable!
It was a super interesting city tour along the inner German border and in the KGB district number 7 in Potsdam. We have learned a lot about this part of modern German history. Thank you for that!
The excursion led to several places that played a particularly important role in the Cold War: the Glienick Bridge, where spectacular agent exchanges took place, Cecilienhof Palace, where the Potsdam Conference took place, and the Soviet. Military town N7 with the German seat of the Soviet. counterintelligence). Our guide had worked very well into the matter, but did not slay us with facts, but presented the essentials so clearly and excitingly that it was easy to follow and the attention did not diminish. It was also helpful that he had brought vivid pictorial material on the state of sightseeing sites during the Cold War. The excursion duration of two and a half hours was reasonable. There was no need to rush, even older people like us could handle the route without any problems.

I always book this tour when I have visitors who don't know much about the fall of the Berlin Wall. I'm always impressed. Holger Raschke leads the tour in a very interesting way as a contemporary witness. You learn a lot of things that you don't learn on normal city tours. He also has a lot of general knowledge about that time and about Potsdam in general. I can only recommend the tour (even for Potsdam residents). Thank you very much again, Mr Raschke!
A great, highly interesting tour on foot and by tram! Holger Reschke and explained to us the small and the large details very vividly and entertainingly, the tree in the park with Cyrillic engravings of Russian soldiers or the large castle Caecilienhof, view axes through the city to show the connection between East and West. Holger can tell a lot from his own family, history becomes so tangible and understandable, very pleasant, you can empathize and form your own opinion. when we come back to Berlin or Potsdam, we will pick out a tour again. The time of about 3 hours passes very quickly. Manfred & Anita from Munich
Recently, I read about the military town No. 7 in a crime thriller; I had never heard of this intelligence location before. It just so happened that I came across an offer of a guided tour on the Internet, the content of which deals with this "Forbidden City", among other things. So I just had to book. And what can I say, this was one of the best and most entertaining tours I have taken so far. This is largely due to the Guide Holger, who has a lot of background knowledge and also points out many details along the way that you would miss without him. Furthermore, there is his personal connection to this region and the issues. You can tell that he is deeply rooted in the topics and enjoys passing on his knowledge. I was thrilled and have just booked the next tour at Berlin’s Taiga 😉
interesting guided tour with a super guide who combines his own experiences with the historical information!
We booked the tour as a combined package. Even after 4 hours, we didn't find it difficult to follow Holger's stories. A guide who obviously loves to convey history. Next time we are close, we definitely book tours with Berlin's Taiga again.
Very interesting and insightful tour in the form of a relaxed walk. The guide convinced with his in-depth knowledge and the very pleasant narrative. Really highly recommended.
We had a very individual tour for four. It was highly informative because the size of the group allowed us to address all our questions and interests. Holger made the tour very entertaining. You can tell that Berlin's Taiga is at work with passion, which was fantastic. Keep up with the effort. I would book the tour again and again. Keep going, it was a great experience!
