View on Google MapsTeresa was a wonderful tour guide. Knowledgeable, organized, punctual, and humorous. We saw it all in our 7 hour tour. The top of the hill to get photos, the world’s most slanted street, the botanical gardens, the OPERA, and a local market. I highly recommend her.
Our Fantail Tours guide, Teresa, was fantastic...very professional, very knowledgeable, courteous and humorous. Our tour of Dunedin, and the Otago Peninsula had numerous photo stops, a visit to a local grocery to purchase a picnic lunch and a 1.5 hour guided hiking walk at OPERA to view a seal pup on the beach, resting sea lions on the cliffs and blue penguins, nesting in secluded boxes as well as a visit to the yellow eyed penguins in the rehab center. We also visited the Railway Station, Uni, the steepest street and views from Mt Cargill. I would highly recommend Fantail Tours.
This was a great day! Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgable and fun. We really enjoyed all the stops, especially the penguin reserve. So fun for my kids as well.
Teresa was a very knowledgeable guide, had an excellent schedule which allowed us to maximise our time in Dunedin. The locations we visited were excellent allowing us to see different plants and animals.
Absolutely perfect experience with Asta!! Asta went above and beyond offering us options along the way.
What a fun-filled, educational, simply awesome day!!! Teresa was amazing- knowledgeable, enthusiastic, educational and fun! Our best excursion to date!
This was a fabulous tour! Theresa was our tour guide. She was awesome. Knew numerous facts about the areas we visited. Plenty of stops and photo oppertunities. The botanical garden stop gave us a chance to see the native new zealand plants and rare birds. The best part of the tour was the "Opera" Santuary stop. We saw 3 baby penguin chicks nesting in the wild. Absolutely a must do excursion!!
Wonderful day seeing the highlights of Dunedin (loved the train station) and the wildlife and scenery of Otago Peninsula. Our guide Warren was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Saw our penguins (mostly in nests) and sea lions. We ended up with a private tour as another cruise ship skipped the port, and really appreciated that the tour went on.
Wonderful guide who took us to see some of the sights before dropping us at OPERA to see the Penguins. Good day.
Enjoyed it very much. All of it was very interesting. Teresa did a great job taking us to Dunedin Botanical Garden, downtown Dunedin and other places.
