From the moment of pick up to drop off, this was by far the best excursion we have ever been on. The passion and knowledge of nature, history and the seas by our guide (Jessica) was perfectly fitting for our family of 6!!! The Ruins in Tulum, swimming with turtles rays and many fish made it seem like we were (in Finding Nemo) And then Caves of the Cenotes were incredibly magical! Mani was awesome...tulum and the cenote were amazing...Mani had so much info to share about the history of the Mayan ruins and about the cenote. 5 stars, will use this company again next time we are back and will request Mani!

Ivan was awesome. We had an incredible day, truly once in a lifetime experience!! Private tour gave us plenty of time to see everything we wanted and spend extra time in highlight areas. HIGHLY recommend! You won’t regret it!
This was my first experience with a private guided tour. I usually throw caution to the wind and explore on my own, but I am so glad we chose to go with Tours by Mike for our day adventure in Cancun. We booked the Tulum, Cenote, and Swimming with Turtles package, and it turned out to be a truly memorable day for all of us. Our guide arrived right on time at our resort, and we were off to what became an amazing experience from start to finish. Our first stop was the Tulum ruins. We arrived early, which allowed us to explore at our own pace without the crowds—what an incredible and beautiful place. After Tulum, we were taken to a stunning underground cenote. Our guide provided all the snorkeling equipment, and the cenote itself was absolutely breathtaking. Next came swimming with the turtles, which was an unforgettable highlight. The snorkeling was fantastic—we saw so many turtles and even ventured out to a small reef where we watched a stingray glide by for a while. Finally, and most importantly, our guide took us into town to find food. All I can say is that the food was out of this world. What you get with Tours by Mike is nothing short of amazing, and our guide truly made the day special. Ivan—or as we called him, Ivan the Great—was the highlight of the entire experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable during our tour of Tulum, showed us the most beautiful spots in the cenote, and was endlessly helpful throughout the day. His snorkeling equipment was far better than what you’d typically rent, and it was clear he was well-known and respected—everyone we encountered went out of their way to help us once they saw we were with him. On top of all that, Ivan was hilarious. He kept us laughing the entire time between stops. So if you find yourself with a guide using phrases like “lollygagging,” “over yonder,” and “bless your heart,” just know—you are in very good hands. Highly recommend this tour and especially Ivan!
Manny was a very knowledge, nice, and fun guide! My favorite part of the trip was the Cenotes! I would love to come back be guided by Manny again!
Daniel was our guide for this adventure, and he was absolutely wonderful. He arrived right on time, and my wife and I enjoyed an incredible day together from start to finish. We began in Tulum, taking in the stunning scenery and learning the rich history of the site—Daniel knew every detail and brought the place to life. Next, he took us to his favorite cenote, where we explored the caves and even swam among the bats. After that, we headed to Akumal Bay for an unforgettable experience swimming with the turtles. My wife had a few challenges with the snorkel gear and the waves, but Daniel took great care of her, and she ended up having an amazing time. Overall, it was a fantastic excursion. Highly recommended—and definitely ask for Daniel. He’s the best.
This is our third private tour with Tours with Mike. Tulum was interesting even for my 12 year old grandtwins. Guide, Ivan, was very knowledgeable about the area. The cenote in a cave was awesome. He chose a different cenote from our previous trip. Swimming with turtles is always fun. We then went to a local place for a yummy lunch. Highly recommend them. Great communication and pick up at lobby.
We had the pleasure of touring with Manny. He made us laugh, taught us a lot, and was incredibly prompt. He’s the man, and I would suggest anyone to have him as their guide if they have the chance. The tour was amazing throughout, but the best part was the swimming with turtles. We were a little anxious and worried, swimming in the ocean, but Manny made sure to help us stay confident. I would love to tour with Manny again the next time we come back.
