View on Google MapsAwesome day out with fantastic guides Merlin & Madison. Totally recommend this trip! Caters to all levels. The walk back is quite a treat so don’t skip that.
Four of us completed the four day walk of Queen Charlotte Sound. Firstly, the organisation by Wilderness Guides was excellent in all respects. The walk was more challenging than I expected, and we are fit walkers. But it was not too arduous. The track itself has suffered from recent weather damage which makes it more challenging. But despite this, the walk is a “must do” walk. The accommodation arranged for us by Wilderness Guides was of an excellent standard throughout. Thoroughly recommend both the Company and the walk.
Cannot recommend this company enough!!! I took a school group of 12 from Australia to Picton to do the Queen Charlotte Track and the sea kayaking. The guides Jake and Shaun were excellent! They were so knowledgeable, fun and enjoyable to be around. Martyn and Hayley had exceptional communication skills leading up to our trip and we were very pleased with how they managed and oversaw our trip, including accommodation and transfers. Our students rated this trip an 11/10! We will definitely be booking this again 😊

Awesome experience despite the punishment to my poor feet! Our guides Sean and Kayla were fantastic, great company and so patient and supportive.
Walking the Queen Charlottee track is an amazing experience. Walking with this company made it unforgettable. Wilderness guides are efficient and friendly. Our guide Alex even provided plunger coffee every day. He was supported by a great team in the office.
We had a magical day kayaking in the Queen Charlotte sound followed by a hike from Davies Bay to Mistletoe Bay on the Queen Charlotte track. Our kayak guide, Gina, was fabulous and took us into some secluded bays and we even kayaked through a hole on the rock. The independent hike was easy to follow and took us up the top to some fabulous views. It took us around 3 hours to reach Mistletoe Bay and we had time for a swim and an ice cream, then the mail boat ferry picked us up and we were back in Picton by 4:30 pm. It was a day I’ll always remember. I recommend this very highly,
My husband and I booked a 2 day tramp and 1 day kayak. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone who has a sense of adventure. Very well organized and the pack lunches were great.
Completely brilliant - could not have been better. Magnificent countryside, terrific guide (Alex) and great food, wine and accommodation.
Well organised.Good briefing. Good lunches . Friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the accomodation and it was a great place to meet various people along the track. I safe and interesting little adventure.
We spent three weeks in New Zealand and the kayak and hike of Queen Charlotte was one of our favorite activities. Jack, our guide on the kayak, was a great instructor and a knowledgeable guide. The walk was absolutely stunning, with a stop for a delicious packed lunch at the overlook. WOW!
