View on Google MapsIf you are in the Filandia area, you definitely should do a cooking class or fruit tasting with Adriana. She hosts them at the organic farm where she lives with her lovely mother. Adriana’s fruit tasting session was very informative. We tried multiple Colombian fruits (so many that we had no room for lunch after). She described where each one is from and how it is best served. She also served her homemade jams and chutneys (which you can purchase) and juices/smoothies. Everything was delicious and Adriana taught us so much. We also toured the beautiful grounds. This is a unique tour that supports a local family business. (Adriana’s English is very fluent for those who don’t speak Spanish well).
Can someone tell me what the name of that site is please, I have searched a lot but I don't know the name, thank you very much to the person who can help me
We tasted around 26 fruits, 2 fruit juices, 3 jams and a guava paste with cheese. We were so full at the end that my husband and I skipped lunch that day. The presentation was very informative, and the surroundings were beautiful. If you don't have transportation to reach the location, they will arrange a pickup and drop off at your hotel for an additional fee. My husband and I were very happy to have booked this experience and highly recommend it. I didn't know at the time, but the same ladies can arrange for a tour to show the coffee experience among other interesting things in the area. They told me people can contact them directly for inquiries through their Facebook page "I am Colombiano".

Adriana and Laura were amazing hosts to our discovery into Colombian fruits. We tasted over 15 different fruits, tried 3 different fruit beverages and several types of accompaniments. Adriana made homemade chutneys too. We expected the experience to last less than an hour but we were there for over 2 hours. The communication was rapid. And the English was perfect. No issues at all. Definitely recommend this tour.
This was an amazing experience we enjoyed while in Colombia. Adriana is knowledgeable, charming and shared her knowledge openly and in a way we could all appreciate. The bounty of fruits were hand selected by her before our visit to represent the fruits at the peak of ripeness. Some 30 different fruits will vary week by week. She had them organized in families, like several passion fruits, so she could help us understand the similarities and differences. Adriana made sure we had the full experience. Some fruits were cut and eaten on the spot. Others she made into fresh juice during the experience. She had cooked several chutneys in advance to spread on toast and patacones (fried plantains). This introduced to where the fruits grew, when they are in season, what makes them different, and how they are prepared and eaten. And we did eat a lot of fruit, and she sent the rest home with us! The other couple were foodies. They loved it. I am not a foody, and I loved it. My wife loved it. I can't believe I am writing this review. I never write reviews. I've been all over the world on excursions and experiences, and I am astounded that this was so fun it led me to write all this. Just book it!
