View on Google MapsPrateek was an awesome guide. He had a good understanding of the city, its history and other interesting info. I was able to discuss about each touristic destination and have an opinion by the end.
The tour was ok overall — definitely worth the price, which was super low considering what I got: a private guide and a driver with an air-conditioned car, all to myself, from the morning until early afternoon. We went around to all the main monuments in the city, so in terms of itinerary and comfort, everything was spot on. That said, from a cultural point of view, I was hoping for a bit more. I would’ve loved to be flooded with information, stories, and details, but the explanations I got felt a little basic. So yeah, good experience.
My time was limited so we only managed to visit Patna Sahib Gurudwara, as well as the banks of Ganges river, but Prateek was such a pleasant guide - it was lovely to chat with him and relax in the serenity of the temple. I am sure he would be a great guide for a full day tour or even trips outside of Patna!

I had a chance to have a very exciting tour of Patna. It was full of contrasts and covered many different sides of the city. Prateek, my guide, was knowledgeable polite and very helpful! We saw the religious places that are stunning, the Ganga river, totally fascinating Patna museum and its varied collection, ate a special snack for lunch which name I can’t remember But it was tasty and memorable. We even stopped by at the mall, so I saw an Indian mall:) which is another interesting cultural place to visit. I also needed to get a couple of things done so we stoped by on the way and got them done! Being a single woman traveler it’s hard at times to navigate India so it was great that in relatively short time I was able to see and do so much! Also my trip fell on Durga celebration. Streets a full of Durga altars, people celebrating and some roads closed, yet it was a wonderful part of the experience because I am always curious how different cultures work. Thank you Prateek for a wonderful experience!
