Paros Byzantine Path Ancient Greek Route Hiking Experience

We took the Byzantine Path from Lefkes to Prodromos and took in all the history they created back in the day. Taking around an hour there were the odd challenging parts but in the main fairly straightforward I’d say. Not for anyone with Walking Difficulties and decent Walking Footwear is essential. Great walk and plenty of great views along the way.

This is a must do in Paros! it was a very peaceful walk and it felt like stepping back in time. Vasilis was very friendly, this was definitely a highlight of our trip.

I really enjoyed the hike with Vasilis! Leftkes is a charming village and the trail had beautiful views and great history. Vasilis adapted the hike based on my fitness level, which I appreciated a lot. Vasilis is very knowledgeable about Paros and we enjoyed a great conversation along the hike and whilst we shared a drink at the end of the trail in a traditional cafe.
