View on Google MapsA really awesome experience for family. We rent a kayak suitable for two adults and 1 kid. The direction is easy, starting with kayak for 2 to 2.5miles and trekking for an hour to witness the water antelope canyon. The kayak journey is so beautiful.

First, our guide Rich was wonderful. He was patient, pleasant, polite and very knowledgeable. The kayaking was so fun. The landscape was beautiful. The hike was amazing.
We rented Kayaks from Antelope Kayak and we had a wonderful time. It was 5 miles kayaking total and we only hiked about 1.5 miles into the canyon so total 3 mile hike. We could have gone a a little longer but we had our 6 year old with us. We packed sandwiches and lunch stuff and ate on the kayaks which was like having the most picturesque lunch on the lake. We had a great time and we started out at 10am and ended at 3pm. Fun was had by all! The people from Antelope Kayak were awesome and friendly and luckily we only had to take our kayaks down to the lake or the hike up would have been tough with a kayak. I highly recommend. Also, you will have to pay $30 per car to get down to the boat launch, that is the fee to be on reservation land and yes they do take credit card. Otherwise you only have to pay for the kayak rental.
