Private Tour from Oviedo to Covadonga, lakes, & sailors villages

The scenery in the Lakes of Covadonga is breathtaking! The Basilica de Santa Maria la Real Covadonga is imposing, with the mountain in the background. This trip is a combination of nature ,history and spirituality. Great day!

We were welcomed by being told that if we were informed prior to booking or at time of booking that we may not have gotten an English speaking guide. The whole point on paying such a ridiculous amount of money was for my Aussie husband enjoy a once in a life time private tour experience with an English speaking guide. Luckily the guide on the day said that we were in luck because he did speak English. This private tour was booked only because our original booking with a group tour was cancelled. And all other available group tours did not fit in to our dates here in Asturias. The private tour was $760.23Aus dollars. Basically a weeks wages for me. This was our 1st ever private tour and our last. To say that the guide was unremarkable and we have experienced far better tours in group settings for a truly fraction of the price. So please don’t waste your hard earn money and just do the cheaper group tour. Because I am sure you would have had a far better experience then what we did. It was truly an unremarkable tour experience we have ever had.

Este tour es estupendo! Empezando por la recogida puntual en nuestra hotel en Gijón. Nuestro guía y chofer, Javier es excelente, con mucho conocimiento de la zona hizo muy ameno el viaje. Tuvimos un clima perfecto, los lagos de convadonga con sus vistas desde el Mirador y la iglesia fueron mis lugares favoritos. Pero todo el tour es muy bueno y Javier muy buen guía . Se los recomiendo 100 %.

The amazing views a fascinating tour Javier knew a lot and explained everything in great detail. booked us to eat a divine site with wonderful views and the fabada was expectacularI would repeat absolutely exclusive everything we did not stand in lines and marveled at the Grotto de la Santina

Incredible from beginning to end. Our guide, Ricardo provided us details for historical reference to what we were seeing. The expedited access to places was smooth. Ricardo even made us a fabulous lunch reservation at an historic monastery. Stunning views throughout our journey. Do not miss this opportunity.

It was an excellent experience. Javier out tour gide, was amazing. My brother, has a knee injury and he made all the effort so he didn't have to strain walking. Just terrific can't thank him enough for all his effort.

Jose was a very good tour guide/driver. He knows the route quite well, was never rushing us and helpful with coffee stops and the place for lunch. Covadonga and the two lakes were really good.

We had a fantastic guide that was so patient with us and was an excellent driver especially in the Pico de Europa National Park! You will not regret going on this trip, it greatly exceeded all our expectations!!!♡
