Learn more about the history of the Nazi Holocaust on this day trip, which includes a guided tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. Hear touching stories as you walk through the park and visit the museum. The starting point is Krakow. DA there, drive about 60 kilometres to the former main camp Auschwitz. Listen to your Guide who will explain the ancient function of the camp: Polish military barracks. At the entrance, notice the gate marked "Arbeit macht frei". Visit the prisoner blocks, which now house memorabilia from camps and items left by prisoners. Admire photos and documents, shoes, suitcases, glasses and other belongings.
