He was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the history and current events of Hawaii, and he truly embodies the spirit of Aloha. I throughly enjoyed his personal stories and experiences while living on the island as well. Our day was relaxed and we were able to see everything we requested, plus a few local spots, without feeling rushed at all. I HIGHLY recommend touring with this company. Michael was an exceptional guide. We went over our itinerary the day before and we're given many options during the day to fit our expectations. He was very knowledgeable about Hawaii history and kept us entertained while driving from place to place. Book Michael and you will not have any regrets.

Spent a wonderful day with Michael of Halia Tours today. It could not have been better. Everything was so easy. We had a schedule that we asked for but we got more. When we had time to do more, Michael gave us options and let us choose. Nothing was too much trouble - we got more than we expected. Cannot recommend this small business professionally run with all health and safety issues important to him as well. We started out as a client and felt we were friends at the end. Don't hesitate - this is high end.
Michael did a fantastic job touring us around. He hit all the points and then some as a guide and driver. Safe driver, courteous, hustled to open doors and set out the steps, was familiar with Oahu enough to change course at a moments notice, legally parked in all the places we stopped, respectful of other tours, culture, our crazy and fun group. To top it all off, his Hawaiian language skills are excellent. He pronounced everything correctly, knew and shared history and legends of places. He also supports other small businesses without being pushy about where you need to go, and has the inside scoops on clean bathrooms. Highly recommended and would absolutely hire Michael again.
We used this tour to maximize our experience during the day that we left our cruise ship in the morning, and departed from the airport in the evening. The operator kept our luggage with the van at all times and scheduled the day so that we could visit specific sites that we were interested in. We were very satisfied with the tour. Michael contacted us several weeks before the tour to discuss our interests, worked out a schedule, and was able to give us choices for additional things to see. He was very accommodating, full of information about Honolulu and Oahu, and kept in touch from before we left the ship. I would highly recommend this tour for those with a need to choose and schedule their time in Honolulu.

This was a fantastic experience! Michael was amazing! He was very informative and always had a story to tell! Lots of laughs! He was also very flexible and willing to accommodate any changes we made on the day! Michael really loves what he does! You can feel his passion for the island! Aloha!
Mike is absolutely amazing! He allows you the ability to “create” your own tour while giving his suggestions! You can tell he loves his job.
