View on Google MapsOur guide (Katie) was very knowledgeable and kind! We had a great time and learned a lot, and not just about cacao, but all the other flora and fauna required to make cacao successful. Our group was small and everyone was nice and respectful. This was one of our favorite experiences in all of our recent travels! The experience was unique, the people are lovely, and the tastings throughout the experience were informative and tasty. Well worth the trip up from Honolulu! Some tips: The orchard had patches of mud (not the entire orchard but it is present) so be mindful of your clothes/shoes. Also, the side road to the orchard is gravel about 50% of the way up, so budget some extra minutes (5-10 extra minutes) for dodging potholes and driving slowly (to avoid kicking up rocks) if you're not accustomed to this kind of driving.
Our visit to the orchard was absolutely incredible. The lady who led the tour was extremely knowledgeable and did a wonderful job answering everyone’s questions in a way that was engaging and easy to understand. She blended all age groups seamlessly and made sure everyone felt included and cared for throughout the experience. The tasting was delicious, and the cacao tea was a must—truly a highlight of the visit. Everything felt thoughtfully planned and well executed, with great attention to detail and hospitality. It was both educational and enjoyable, making it a perfect experience for families, couples, and groups of all ages. We left feeling informed, welcomed, and grateful for such a memorable and enriching experience. Highly recommended!

This was a very intimate (only about 8 people) and comprehensive tour about growing chocolate and tasting the different chocolates grown around the Hawaiian islands. Be sure to enjoy the chocolate tea made with dried material from the pods
Very educational, wear closed toe shoes, be prepared to recognize flavors, very great chocolate tasting!
Really enjoyed this experience! I travelled with 8 of my family members (Ages 8-67) and we all had a good time. Highly recommend.
This was AWESOME! Our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Lots of chocolate tasting! This ranch is almost like an outdoor laboratory. The whole tour was fascinating and we learned so much. Love supporting the local community.
Fun time with my family learning about the Cacao tree and how these are cultivated to produce chocolates. The chocolate tasting was also delicious as well as fun and informative. Highly recommend!
Don't miss it and be prepared to buy chocolate after you sample! This ranks up there with one of the most informative and enjoyable tours I've taken anywhere. Our guide was Katy, and she was wonderful! Thank you!
Amazing tour and great chocolate samples! Our guide was very knowledgeable and the farm is beautiful.
Katie and Max ensured it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend. Katie was a great and a very informative tour guide. Chocolate was excellent.
