View on Google MapsOur guide was polite and generous to everyone in the group, and did a good job getting us together to start off from City Hall Park. Despite a lot of people on the bridge that morning, Derrick got us across without hindrance and ably handled our insistence on stopping for photos every 20 yards (the weather was great that day). Once across, and while making sure we were all rested and refreshed, Derrick took us up to Brooklyn Heights with warm welcomes and friendly greetings in any stops or shops we visited along the way. As we walked Derrick shared the history of Brooklyn and the neighborhood around us, and kept us all informed and amused with stories of notable locals and celebrity A-listers, past and present, that called The Heights their home, delivered with great jokes and sometimes even music! After helping us all get photos of the day, Derrick took us back via Gleason's gym, an unexpected but pleasant surprise, then helped us back to the subway station. No complaints, really enjoyed and do recommend it.
Great tour would highly recommend! John was an engaging caring guide who really connected with the people in our group. He made the tour personal and special. The information we learned about the bridge and surrounding areas could not have been gotten from a guide book, nor could the recommendations for places to eat and drink in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Thank you for a fabulous morning John.

The tour surpassed all of our expectations. Jon’s love of NY’s architecture, history and the arts, along side his natural storytelling prowess makes this a must do activity.
Great experience! To be honest, I didn’t know there were so many interesting facts about NYC. Before, I used to just walk around without really understanding what I was seeing, but that definitely changed after this tour. Fully recommended!
It was an amazing experience!! The tour itself is fantastic and Mike is an excepcional guide. It is like seeing Manhattan from the opposite side. I highly recommend it!
A wonderful tour filled with history, comedy and even some personal photography thrown in! Jon was a unique and great tour guide! 🎉
John was an experienced guide and good communicator. He gave a great insight into NYC, the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn. Some great views of the Manhattan skyline from the bridge and Brooklyn.
I'm a New Yorker who met Jon at a show. He convinced me to take this local tour and I learned so much. Such a beautiful tour and a great way of brining back community tourism.
Jon Noto is a credit to all tour guides. Very knowledgeable as well as charming. The best tour we’ve had in NYC. Thank you!
Mike was welcoming, very knowledgeable & professional. He was inclusive & gave clear details of how the tour would progress. Mike knows his stuff! Do not miss this tour! He took it at a good pace & checked in on everyone. I thoroughly recommend this tour!
