View on Google MapsThis was our third tour with Bruce. He is a delightful, knowledgable and enthusiastic guide. If you’re interested in history of Brooklyn, or just interested in the area, this is a great tour to take! The scenes of the Manhattan skyline are fantastic as is the history of the Brooklyn Bridge, which you experience as you walk over it! I highly recommend this tour and any or all of the tours Bruce offers.
This is our 3rd tour with Bruce and it’s always such an enriching experience. Bruce is incredibly knowledgeable about these topics. It’s always fascinating to see things through his eyes and experience because you can feel his passion. He’s not just walking you to a location, but transporting you! The Brooklyn Bridge is a structure we have walked on more times than we can count, but it was just amazing to hear the story of its construction and we will never see that bridge the same way again. We have so much more respect for it now. This was just a small example of how eventful touring with Bruce is. We look forward to booking tours with him every chance we’re in NY because he’s simply the best!!

This tour was excellent. Bruce was so knowledgeable about the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights. I will definitely do more tours with Bruce the next time I am in New York. Highly recommended!
This is a great way to learn more about the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn in general. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and presented the information in a way that was easy to understand.
I loved this tour. I have walked the bridge before but knew nothing of its history. Bruce brought it to life with pictures and a demonstration of how it was built. Bruce’s knowledge is not just historical – I never knew what inspired Jay Z to choose his name. Everyone should go on this tour!
You won’t be disappointed! Bruce was was a fantastic tour guide and a wealth of knowledge. Friendly and enthusiastic. My daughter and I enjoyed learning about the construction of the Brooklyn bridge, the history of Dumbo and Brooklyn Heights while strolling through these beautiful neighbourhoods. So much more learned as well. Bruce came armed with a binder of historic photos and his enthusiasm for history and his city. Loved every minute and would highly recommend! Took the Central Park tour 2 days later with him.
The tour was exceptional! Bruce was an expert tour guide, not only on the building of the Brooklyn Bridge but of American history. His presentations and the photos he shared brought the stories to life. I couldn’t recommend the tour more!
One of the best things I've ever done in NYC. Learned so much and had amazing views. Bruce is so brilliant and an absolute joy to spend time with. I wish I could just follow him around the whole city.
This was our 3rd field trip with Bruce and every moment was absolutely wonderful and amazing! Walking over the Brooklyn Bridge while Bruce shared the history of when, how, and why it was built were moments we will never forget. The children in our group are like sponges with Bruce. They are engaged and absorbing all of his knowledge in. Throughout the trip (and afterwards), other parents on the trip sang Bruce’s praises. We all know how blessed we were to have that time with him. It is one thing to read about the history of Brooklyn, but it is an entirely different thing to walk through the different neighborhoods of Brooklyn while learning simultaneously what took place years ago right under your feet. I have been to Brooklyn before, but never saw DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights, and Pebble Beach. All are must see parts of Brooklyn! We even saw the NYC skyline from Brooklyn. So many incredible views and so many incredible memories made! Thank you Bruce for always bringing American History to life for our kids!
Bruce’s enthusiasm was palpable and honestly learned so much that I didn’t know . The Brooklyn bridge walking tour was the best part of our weekend . He covered a lot of territory , and I found him to be a very considerate guide . Wish I could have fit in the Central Park tour as well but that’s for next time . Do not hesitate to reach out to him . He is the BEST
