View on Google MapsVery friendly, devoted guide with extraordinarily interesting stories about New York City history. You come to places you would never have come without this tour and experience stories that are not in any guidebook. Many good suggestions!
Annabel was fantastic! So much knowledge about the history of NYC. It’s a wonderful way to see and learn about the city.
Annabel was an amazing tour guide - it was like hanging out with a friend for the day! She adjusted the tour to our interests and stayed extra time to talk and share her extensive knowledge of NYC. We did luck into a tour where it was just my spouse and I, so it was super easy to have an ongoing conversation with our guide. Thank you Annabel - we hope to see you again on another tour next year!

This is a tailored tour based on the interest of the group. Annabelle was knowledgeable and engaging on a personal level. She made connections to historical events and present day life styles. Just a short while into the tour you forget you are not just strolling around with a architecturally passionate friend.
Annabelle was a fantastic tour guide! We learned so much about the buildings of NYC and the different styles of architecture represented throughout the city. She was so knowledgeable and had such a great personality. She really made it fun! I highly recommend this tour.
We really enjoyed our three-hour architectural tour, which was like a "survey" course of major architectural styles in New York via examples like the Plaza, the Villard mansion, the Apple building, etc. I liked that our guide provided historical context and helped us understand the "backdrop." But what we loved was her explanations of contemporary issues like "air space," privately owned public spaces and the scaffolding problem. The tour made us just want to learn more.
We had our tour with Annabel, she was undoubtely the best tour guide I have ever had. Kind, forthcoming and extreamly knowledgable, we would recomend her hughly to anybody willing to walk a bit.
Our guide Annabelle did an amazing job of showing us the architecture of NYC. She was very knowledgeable of all the different buildings and their architecture. She also provided a lot of historical background about the building and the cities
We come to Manhattan every year, this was a new and wonderful way to see some famous and amazing buildings. Annabelle was charming and extremely knowledgeable.
I recently took the Midtown architecture tour led by Annabel, and it was absolutely outstanding. While the itinerary included many of the iconic buildings you'd expect from a Midtown tour, what truly set this experience apart was Annabel herself. She brought the architecture to life by weaving it into its historical context with a blend of insight and charm. Her eye for detail was remarkable - she highlighted features I would have completely overlooked on my own. I was also impressed by her access to buildings and her rapport with staff at various locations - this added a layer of depth and authenticity to the tour that I hadn’t anticipated. This tour was a highlight of my brief stay in New York City, and Annabel was a truly exceptional guide.
