View on Google MapsHad an awesome time with Kyro as our guide for a day trip in Swaziland. It was a long car ride but with Kyro, it was a breeze. Divulging his vast knowledge from history to forestry, we learned a lot and laughed a lot as well. I personally was just collecting words to look up later and use so I can sound smart like Kyro. But enough about him- the tour was very interesting. We stopped at the glass factory and though it was a weekend n we didn’t see the actual workings of the place, their products were nice and we bought a few souvenirs. Then we head to the cultural center where you learn about tribal life. Twas very very interesting and eye opening. Tip: wear a mask coz cow dung and animal hide drying. Then they performed traditional dances and in the end two in our group were asked to participate. Twas really fun! This was the highlight of the trip. Then we went to a candle sculpting factory where they demo in less than 5 min they can make any animal. So talented! Also lunch was included and was very tasty. Then home we went. All in all, it was a great intro of Swaziland. If you can, I’d stay a night or two here, longer if you have the time. If not, book with Kruger Flexi Tour and ask for Kyro!
Very enlightening look into beautiful Swaziland and the life of it's people! Thoroughly enjoyed the sights, nature, and especially the cultural village tour with the song and dance performance. Our guide, Dave, was especially kind, humorous, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone.

Amazing trip. The best guide ever! Dave is full of energy, very friendly and positive person with sense of humor :) Beautiful views, great experiance in the village. Everything’s perfect!
This was a day trip to Swaziland (Eswatini) from Nelspruit/Mbombela. On the tour you get to see a candle making factory, a glass blowing factory, markets, and a cultural village, among other sites. The tour was approximately twelve hours, but this is unavoidable due to the amount of driving you need to do to get there. This was a great tour as Dave was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. He was quite the character, very funny and great to talk to. He made us feel comfortable the whole way through, and kept us up to date with the plan. There's no way we could have done this tour this way on our own, so I highly recommend this tour if you're staying around Nelspruit/Mbombela and want to check out Swaziland/Eswatini.
Today we had a super fun day to Swaziland. We were picked up early at our hotel and were already in Swaziland within 2 hours. The guide was very friendly. We laughed a lot with each other and he could tell a lot about the country. We went to the candle factory, glass factory and a village. Super fun day and well arranged.
Dear Dave. Thank you for an awesome tour through Swaziland. A well-travelled and informed tour guide, patient, a safe driver and considerate towards the passengers/guests. Thank you for picking us up and dropping us off as well.
If I could give this tour more than 5 stars I would because it was excellent! A great way to actually experience and see some culture in this region beyond the standard fare of a safari and leaving. I have done a lot of trips through viator and Dave is genuinely the best guide I have ever had, I wish I booked more trips through him. You really can’t go wrong and I highly recommend this for anyone visiting
A full day tour through Swaziland. Perfectly organised, you can see a lot and learn a lot while driving through the country. Dave is an excellent professional guide. Highly recommended, Nicoletta
Dave, our guide, made the journey memorable with his friendly and entertaining nature. We embarked on our adventure from the Bulembu border, and it was a picturesque route that included some off-road trails and numerous photo stops. We arrived at the border slightly early and became the first to pass through both South Africa and Swaziland's borders that day. After clearing the border, he stopped at a local store to buy us delicious donuts and water, ensuring our energy levels were up for the day ahead. We visited the glass factory, Swazi cultural village, and a local restaurant where we savored authentic Swazi dishes. The journey continued with a stop at the Swazi candle center, and Dave drove around Lobamba town before heading back to South Africa via the Ngwenya border. Although we encountered a brief hailstorm on the way to Nelspruit, it added a touch of adventure to the trip. Overall, we had an entertaining journey filled with breathtaking sights, local flavors, and Dave's hospitality. I highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking an enriching Swaziland adventure.
The views were amazing, we took lot of pictures. The driver was very friendly and had good knowledge of the place. We could manage to see many places.
