View on Google MapsWe had the most amazing evening safari followed by a full day safari in Kruger, courtesy of Mbombela Tours. Roy, our guide, worked so hard to ensure we saw all of the big 5 (except for the elusive cheetah) and many more animals and birds besides. He even cut short his own breaks to get us back on the road quickly and we were rewarded with the most unforgettable experience and incredible close-up sightings. Roy was so kind, friendly and knowledgeable - we felt incredibly blessed to have him as our guide. Other staff who helped us, including Mozi and Brendan, were amazing too. Honestly, a trip of a lifetime, brought to life by wonderful people.
An incredible day that will forever be remembered. This all day kruger national park safari tour was just a fantastic experience, from the ease of booking, constant communication to the day itself. Our guide, Kyro was awesome from his knowledge to his stories and humour, not to mention the flow of conversations throughout the day. If this trip was classed as the best cake ever, Kryo being the guide was the icing on the cake. Thank you all so much for a day we'll never forget. Suki and Reena.

The most amazing trip 🤩 Went to Safari in Kruger Park, a Panorama Day Tour, and visited Swaziland. All arranged perfectly by Dave - the best and most reliable guide ever! Loved it, Dave was awesome! We saw the big 5 within the first 2 hours of the tour. 1 tip I’d give you is to wait till you get to the train restaurant to buy lunch, otherwise that first stop is great for just a snack and coffee/juice.
While in Nelspruit South Africa for work recently, we decided to take a Day Safari to Kruger National Park and I arranged it through Viator. Our pick up from our hotel was at 4 AM. Dave, our guide met us in the lobby and the hotel arranged for a light breakfast for us to take with us. We knew that we would love Dave when we saw that he was barefoot as he entered our hotel to pick us up. His energy was awesome. We were immediately welcomed and made to feel comfortable as we started our journey in his open air vehicle warmed by blankets as the cool morning air kept us awake. After picking up another lovely couple, the six of us began our excellent adventure with Dave and Krueger National Park. Not only did we see the big five throughout our beautiful day we also were blessed with seeing four of the ugly five as Dave would name them. In addition to those animals, we saw zebra, giraffe, wild dogs, and a variety of beautiful birds. We had an enjoyable lunch at Berg en Dal, Tindlovu Restaurant. The weather was very warm, but the skies were clear and we were offered cold waters whenever we needed, even though we had brought our own. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable and always aware of safety within the vehicle and within the park. He was incredibly funny and made our day extra special with ice cream at the end of our trip which was completely unexpected. He appears to be somewhat famous within the park itself as many of the other drivers spent time to pull over and chat with him while we were on our way. He is full of energy, kindness, and love for the animals as well as his country and people. We had no idea that our excellent adventure would be made more enjoyable because of Dave and his Dave-isms that we went so far as to make a list of some of the things he said as they will go down in our memories forever. He is an absolute joy! Thank you for such a wonderful time…If you are ever in Nelspruit and choose to go on a day trip we highly recommend it.
Notre journée était illuminée par la passion de Dave notre chauffeur. Notre journée a commencé timidement.Par la suite nous avons pu nous réjouir de pouvoir observer tous ses animaux au sein du parc. C'était une très belle et bonne journée, remplies de simplicité.
Qui n'a jamais rêvé de safari, d'animaux sauvages dans leur milieu naturel ? Grâce à Dave, généreux, attentif et hyper connaisseur, j'ai vécu un de mes rêves d'enfant avec mon enfant (ado). Hyènes, zèbres, rhinocéros blancs, hippopotames, buffalos, éléphants, girafes, Impalas, Koudous, crocodiles,... Et lions, lionnes ... Quelle journée ! Dave nous a donné énormément d'informations et nous avons passé une journée XXL. Merci et à la prochaine😉.
We started early in the day and reached the park before the gates were open. Once we entered the park we were welcome with Impalas & then a family of Elephants. Early on we could see a couple of Hyenas followed with another one. Our guide Werner was very knowledgeable & kept us well informed about the various animals and birds, their behaviour etc etc. Early in the day we spotted Lions with a carcass, though we could see them from a distance but still felt lucky. In the afternoon we again find few more lions. Mid day we could spot one Leopard in an ideal place for them with big boulders and bushy area for hiding and camouflaging. Got a fantastic view of Rhinos, a group of four to be precise from a very close distance. The day went on with number of animals like Kudus, Zebras, Boar, Impalas a plenty, many bird species. One disappointment was African Buffalo, we could not find a single one. We entered from Malelane South Gate.
Great tour. Dave was an excellent guide. Would recommend to any family who is looking to stay in Nelspruit and visit Kruger
