Óbidos & Nazaré Private Tour

We arranged our private tour while in Nazare. Our guide Ivo met us at the Cultural Center and we immediately felt comfortable with him. We were so impressed with his passion and knowledge of this region of Portugal and would have missed so much of the area had we not done this tour. We had a lovely day and have fond memories of this beautiful part of the country. Obrigato!

This was a great tour. The sights were amazing. It's a bit of a hill walking back to the van after being down by the water but we made it. Our tour guide was very good, too.

An interesting and beautiful tour, with an extremely knowledgeable guide who was a delight to engage with. Well worth the time and expense. Our only observation was that we could have enjoyed more time in Óbidos.

A visita guiada durou quase 3 horas, todas elas bem passadas com a guia que foi super simpática! Caminhámos pelas ruas do centro da vila e percorremos a marginal junto ao mar onde nos foi explicada a Arte Xávega na qual os touros ajudavam a puxar os barcos dos pescadores para o areal. Vimos o peixe seco a secar nas redes e as peixeiras nazarenas trajadas a preceito. Tivemos a oportunidade de visitar também o Sítio da Nazaré e as suas vistas fantásticas sobre a praia da vila, assim como o Santuário da Nazaré, a Capela da Memória e finalizámos no Forte São Miguel Arcanjo. Foi uma pena que as gigantes ondas da Nazaré não tenham “aparecido” para a tour ter sido apoteótica, mas fica para a próxima! Obrigada Silver Coast!
