View on Google MapsI joined a sushi-making class in Nara that went far beyond the usual tourist experience. Instead of simply shaping sushi, I was invited to step into the chef’s working space — to hold the knife myself and learn how to slice the fish under the guidance of a professional sushi master. Even the wasabi wasn’t the typical green powder. I got to grate it fresh from real wasabi root, releasing a fragrance and spiciness that felt completely different from what I had known before. Every step was handled with care, and the chef’s explanations were clear and patient. It truly felt like learning from a real artisan rather than just taking part in a short class. Compared with other sushi experiences I’ve joined before, this one was much deeper and more genuine. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn the true spirit of Japanese sushi craftsmanship — not just make sushi, but understand it.
Very good experience. I liked the enthusiasm of the teachers and the atmosphere was good. Everyone is dedicated to making sushi, sushi is fresh, paper pot is delicious, and the purple leaf and leaf roo in Tianjin Lo is also very delicious, not to eat elsewhere. But the food portion is a little bit, I and my friends can't eat out 🙏🏻 Thank you for the welcome, a nice day. ra-shya!

A great experience for all, our 8 and 10 year old girls loved every minute. Tossi the master, was fantastic and made the making of the Sushi amazing fun.Everything was so fresh Totally amazing 😍🤩, Thank you Tossi 🙏👍
Authentic sushi-making class with friendly and attentive instructors. You will put on a Japanese traditional festival coat called “happi coat” as you make your sushi. The ingredients are super fresh, delicious and not fishy at all. It’s beginner-friendly and you will make wonderful memories there.
My husband and I had a wonderful private sushi making class today, taught by Tossy. He was fun and informative and really made the class a pleasure. We got to eat our sushi creations and everything was delicious! Thank you, Tossy, for this unique and special experience!
The experience was great. The chef we taught, Ogo, was very attentive and funny, learned how to make a lot of sushi, provided fresh and varied ingredients, couldn't eat a whole eel, harvested a lot, and gave us sake.
Daigo was AMAZING! And so talented. I love the challenges and the laughter. The various fish was perfect to eat and some new to try. And the costumes are cute! Best trip!
An amazing experience with Daigo. From the introduction to the costumes to the lesson to the food - perfect for beginners and a wonderful time for all. Plus the sushi was delicious at the end!
Fantastic experience for the whole family. Chef Daigo was very professional and entertaining. Sushi was high quality, definitely worth doing!
It was a really fun experience, I never thought I would have this much fun making sushi. We were on a school trip from California and the staff were super nice to us. I wish to go there again someday and highly recommend you check it out!
