View on Google MapsWe had a fantastic afternoon with our guide. He was very enjoyable and informative. I really liked the sampling of experiences with the visit to the winery, drive up Mt TeMata and the stop at the Māori monument.
Dean our guide was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us as much time as we wanted at each stop. His passion and explanations of the history of Napier and modern day Napier were invaluable. Fabulous trip and highly recommend.
Perfect balance of sightseeing with a gorgeous view at The Peak, wine tasting and a dash of history Atea a Rangi. Dean was incredibly personable and knowledgeable! He presented interesting facts and stats throughout the trip. We were amazed by his personal history and passion for Napier! Only 4 of us on the tour. Big captain seats! Book it! Soo much fun and culture in 2.5 hours! Excellent value, too.

Great wine tour experience. Our tour guide Mr Dean was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made sure we, as a family of four with two kids were comfortable throughout the tour and went extra miles to make sure we have a great experience.
Bronnie is lovely and very knowledgeable about the area. While showing us the sights, she told us a great deal about what we were seeing as well as providing insight into some of the significant Maori sites. The wine and cheese tasting was a highlight. It was an afternoon well spent.
What a fantastic introduction to Hawkes Bay we booked this tour as it was advertised as winery and sightseeing and it certainly lived up to that title Duncan pick us up and drove us to Clear view estate were we had a flight of tasting wines and a tasty cheese board we then drove to Te Mata Estate for another flight of wine throughout both tastings the complexity of the wine was explained we then did some more sightseeing including Te Mata peak fantastic views over Hawkes Bay and to Atea a Rangi a Maori sightseeing explaining about star navigation Duncan gave us lots of interesting information along the way well worth the money a must do
Our guide for a half day tour was Bronnie who was wonderful! At short notice she organised a route of the best vineyards to visit in the time we had - collected us from two different hotels, was very knowledgable ecplaining our surroundings en-route and patiently waited at each until ready to go to the next, advised where to include a platter of gorgeous food and went beyond her brief by working some time after she should have finished so we could fit in one last visit, then delivered us safely back again - and refused to accept a tip. Would highly recommend Elecexec and especially Bronnie - thank you for a fantastic day! Kate & Gordon Hood.
